Indie Stays Chembur

Travelled to Mumbai for work & loved staying at the property. They have beautiful studio apartments (a combination of hotel & hostel) . The staff is extremely sweet and friendly. Beautiful rooms, great property, lovely people & a good place if you are looking for a reasonable & safe place in the city. Would love to try out other properties in the future.

Rooms were clean and accommodating...staff was very nice and also very helpful. Water pressure is insanely good in the shower if that important :). I had a few requests for their doorman while there and Although English wasn't understood a quick errand was communicated and chatting with a delivery driver was accomplished as well. I was very pleased and felt fairly safe here, despite the location being very local and not touristy (which can be a plus and negative). Overall would highly recommend if you need to stay in chembur for sure!

It was a great experience staying here especially with your parents who have limited mobility and are new to the city weather conditions. I am certain that it's fully comfortable for people coming solo or with friends considering their game section and small book stores and cozy couches for relaxing. Breakfast was satisfying and the service staff were friendly.

I needed a room to stay in the middle of the night and they had one available and were patiently waiting for me to get there. Absolutely hassle free checkin. My friend had already made the payment. The room was a deluxe and very comfortable and spacious. Everything was clean and neat. I also had a reservation for the next day, but a smaller room. Not as spacious but comfortable and cozy with all the amenities in the bathroom and also tea n stuff. Both rooms were air-conditioned. I had a hassle-free, comfortable stay. Yes, the charges were a bit high as per me but all in all, it was good. There's a cafe next to this place so a convenient eating place nearby. Autos easily available. Walking distance from Govandi railway station.

We came here for a two night stay very cozy and a beautiful place good space the washroom was clean and all the amenities required were available the staff was amazing and break fast was provided with the stay very high was good really enjoyed the stay hoping to come back soon

Rooms are 1 bhk style.. However service was great.. Mgr Siddhesh was awesome at job.. Food was good and and too much quantity for single serving

I found the staff at Indie Stays to be quite kind and respectful, particularly the watchman, who was always smiling, helpful, and hardworking. However, if you are planning a trip to India, I might suggest considering other accommodations. While the rooms were adequate, I encountered several issues. Mosquitoes were a significant problem, the air conditioning didn't function properly, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. As I didn't have an Indian phone number, contacting someone for assistance proved challenging; it often took multiple calls to receive help with room cleaning. The housekeeping staff frequently spent time on personal calls, and I even had to guide them on tasks like changing sheets and mopping. The mop itself was quite dirty, and it took repeated requests before it was replaced. I called tons of times about the AC, and finally, my husband cleaned the filter because it was super hot and smelled awful. Overall, my experience fell short of expectations, which were quite high based on previous reviews. I hope Indie Stays will address these concerns.
