Hotel Mantra Residency

Upon check-in, I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room and toilet, which had a strong, unpleasant smell and were poorly maintained. Additionally, the room was completely different from the photos displayed during the booking process. Although the hotel is listed as family-friendly, the environment appeared to be more suitable for unmarried couples, which made my children feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This was not what I expected when booking a stay through a trusted platform like MakeMyTrip. As a result, I checked out on 12.04.2025 at around 6:00 PM, shortly after checking in. We spent nearly 3 hours searching for a suitable alternative, and eventually booked a stay at Hotel Regent nearby. I returned to Mantra Hotel only to collect our luggage later that evening.

The hotel was located in a good location, very near to the airport. However, when we went there to check the rooms first, then were booking online, the manager said he would offer the same price in offline only. The room given to us was nothing like the one he had shown us before. He gave a very small room, the washrooms looked bad with untidy shabby doors just beside the bed. There was so service from the hotel staff, so can't rate that. Overall, it's not worth it.

Now, there are public toilets right outside the hotel , and the smell was unbearable. It's cheap, so I asked for a deluxe room, I got a room without a window. There was someone screaming at the top of his lungs because a hotel employee was recording him. That was the point I had to leave the hotel as everything was getting a bit too much. There's nothing much nearby that i could see. I had a picture of my passport taken by the desk guy, which i found odd. It's definitely not a 3 star as advertised by trip at best 1 star. If it's budget you are looking for dont mind smell and noise, you can not fault this place, but it wasn't for me. I booked for 3 nights, stayed 1 and left.

The hotel is clean compare to hotels we have been to for past years. The wifi is very good also except that there is no such other amenities (Anyway, i am not expecting).This is very good if u dont yet Mumbai and upon arrival to it through Chatrapati Shivaji Intl Airport. It is very near to the airport.But later you may come to hotel in Mumbai town bz this is far yet to town.

Near to airport. Cleaner than other rooms we have booked back then. With wifi also. The staff are well-mannered and helpful. If we need to book an auto, they are also ready.

The room was not clean and the linen was very dirty Lots of maintenance problems there is no heltfuset holder, washpate is broken Lost of hair on drain At the time of check out theey are not providing the bill as well The management should take action against it because if the staff is not providing the bill it means they are laying with manegement it should be a audit paint Food and tea price are too high Worst experience

Hotel staff are supportive, Room are bit small but reasonable, if you are looking to stay here to catch the flight then this hotel you must checkout

We booked this many times during our stay in Mumbai because of its convenience to local market, airport and other places where we need to go. Superb! Thanks to the accomdating and helpful staff.
