Hotel Aura, Malad West

Nightmare at Hotel Aura- Evershine- Malad West, Mumbai. My recent stay at this hotel 25th to 26th April 2025. I booked the Deluxe room on the 22nd April. I checked in at 7 pm. The security guard or a helper was the receptionist to assist me. The room was still not ready at 7 pm when I booked the room 3 days in advance. The elevator was not working so I had to walk to the 5th floor, there was no power on the stairway and there were electrical wires hanging on all the 5 floors. |I entered the deluxe room, the floor was dusty and full of mud. There was no television, The pillow covers and the bedsheets were very dirty. The phone in the room for the reception was not working. The wifi was not working in my room 506. The wifi was only working at the reception.||Now the biggest disaster was the bathroom. The bathroom flush was not working, The shower water came for a little while and stopped. I had to rush the shower and left the room at 8 pm. I informed the reception about flush and water supply, He said it will be fixed in no time. I came back to the hotel at 3 am. The flush was still not working and now there was no water to take a shower. I informed the reception, he said he is sending someone, I waited till 4 am and went to sleep without shower. I woke up at 5 am to a loud music noise coming from other rooms, there was no supervision to see if other rooms are making loud noise.||On 26th morning at 9 am I informed the reception and the owner on whats app that the flush is still jot working and the bathroom is stinking and I need to use the bathroom to get ready before I check out at 11 am. The reception did not even have a common sense to give me a different bathroom to use till they fix this issue. The technicians came after 1 hour and finally fixed the issue at 10.42 am. At 11.15 am they knock my door that I need to checkout. I mean common... How foolish of them.||In the morning I realized that there were no curtains in the bathroom, The glass in the bathroom is plain white transparent and the neighbors from other building can clearly see what im doing in the bathroom.... How inconsiderate this management can be. I dint even notice it in the night as I was hardly there in the room. (plz see the pictures)||I mean Why will you guys give me a deluxe room which is not ready for the guest to use. They gave me an excuse that the hotel is under renovation, I booked the room 3 days in advance, You guys should have told me about this. I paid full money for this room for all the services mentioned on their website and based on the photos seen about the deluxe room on their website. Why give misguiding information on the website.||The location might be convenient for some but its certainly not worth the misery of staying in this poorly managed and maintained hotel. This hotel is a prime example of how not to run a hospitality business. Save your money and your sanity- stay far away.

One of the worst Hotel to stay. If there is negative rating I would prefer to give that.I booked through online from Bangalore due to the location and because of an urgent need. The hotel is under renovation and not worth staying. Full of debris, dust and no table, no mirrors, no proper working lift. I don't understand why they agree booking when hotel is under renovation and hardly any safety measures are there.Without occupancy certificate they are accepting booking without any facilities yet. People from outside of Mumbai should be beware..Please don't book any rooms seeing the photo, check it personally as it was worst experience.

This hotel is under renovation and still they are taking bookings, They do not have locks in the room so you will have to leave the room as is if you're going out. They do not have handwash, body wash, basic toiletries and when asked for these they said rudely on face that hotel is under renovation and we will not provide these services to you. They gave very savage reply saying since we are under renovation that is the reason why rooms are cheap, but hello you took 4k which is your normal rates for the rooms. While time there was paint smell coming in the room. Food or water whatever you order you have to pay on the spot. They charged for breakfast but did not provided breakfast saying the same thing that they are under Renovation. Question - If you're under renovation then why are you even taking the booking?? When i informed about booking on WhatsApp then why they didn't say that they are under renovation. This is complete case of cheating and forgery.

Very very poor hotel.....what to say totally speechless I am.....wifi not working, don't even have a bucket for a bath......they have offered us a steel ka dabba in place of bucket as they don't have it.... Not recommended at all

Beyond disappointed with my stay. Firstly, there's some construction/renovation work going on. Fine. I can understand. But then you'd at least expect the rest of the place to be presentable, right? Wrong. The first room we checked into, it was dirty, had a hole in the floor so big you can put a small foot through it. The bathroom stank. The room had absolutely no redeeming qualities. We'd booked through MakeMyTrip so to their credit, they got us another room, which looked the same but at least didn't stink, but that's the end of the good news. But beyond that, neither MMT nor the hotel were any help. The room service was shoddy at best. Talking to the reception was an unpleasant experience. We paid a decent amount of money for a room that was barely worth half of what we paid, considering the overall state of the place. If you're looking for a place where you actually want a nice, comfortable, relaxing stay, this isn't it.

The overall experience of the stay was really bad. The hospitality is below average. We had asked for the room to be cleaned in the morning. When we came back at 6 in the evening, the room was not yet cleaned. Even the towels were not changed. There is no parking space available. They park the car outside in the open, besides the road.

My stay in hotel aura was amazing. Good rooms. Hygiene and view was amazing full city view from hotel room. Delicious food last but not the least service was prompt Hina is amazingly good at her work quick, helpful calm will definitely visit again and highly recommended
