The Lighthouse / U-Tan Sea Resort

I visited this resort 10 years back with my family, which made me bring my office group here again.. one of the best stays , with outstanding views food and service if u don't want to travel too much outside the Mumbai.. just 1 hr from Andheri. And they still hold the same charm and beauty like years before.. infact newly renovated spacious rooms.. ideal for group outing for family outing. Just loved it .. must visit for a weekend gateway near Mumbai ..

The location is nice. The property has a good vibe especially for couples. Had booked a classic room, the tiles in the bathroom are slippery, the tiles used in the bathroom are the same which are used in the bedroom. We slipped, luckily got away with minor injury. The food needs a lot of improvement, no much variety, fish was not fresh, excess oil used in a simple dish like puri bhaji. For so much tariff there is no buffet in complimentary breakfast. Overall the place is only good for the location, otherwise an average resort. nothing exceptional.

We recently had a staycation here and had a very good experience. Everything from the location, pool, rooms and service was amazing. The staff was polite and helpful. We had a sea view room and the view was truly mesmerizing especially during sunset. Will definitely recommend the place for a peaceful staycation. The road towards the resort is steep and new drivers might find it difficult to pull through.

We are currently staying here for the last 2 days. Location is beautiful. Staff absolutely outstanding, very professional, efficient, and courteous. Chef, well what can I say, there was not a dish we did not like, we enjoyed it all so much. We have been to different parts of the world and enjoyed 5 and 7 star resorts, but nothing is more enjoyable than what's in our own country. My family and I wish this resort all the very best and we will definitely come back again. One recommendation, please add a gym, so we can eat more.

I recently visited Lighthouse Uttan, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The lighthouse stands tall and proud, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The area around the lighthouse is calm and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing day. To capture the stunning views, don't forget your camera. Staff is very co-operative. Highly recommended.

It's very clean,quiet and a calm place to spend time with family. We booked a room on a weekend and got a 1 bhk. The room was clean and spacious. There were minor issues with the toilet flush and loose tap. Nevertheless it was clean. Otherwise the room was excellent. Good enough for 4 people for a comfortable stay. The entire property is very clean and well maintained. There is a clean pool and playing area with badminton and few swings all over the resort. Kids can run around. The service is excellent. Food is awesome. They also served the morning breakfast in a buffet which was excellent. The view from the restaurant and pool area to the sea is very beautiful. If need be they will call for a rickshaw till maxus mall at a reasonable price. Overall a good place to relax.

This place was unbelievable. Very rarely do you find a place which not only is a good resort but also serves good food. However, this place ticks both boxes. Not only are the rooms and villas well laid out and comfortable with clean bathrooms but the food was delicious too. Right from the butter chicken to the prawn curry rice and the barbecue, all of it. The manager Mayuresh made sure all our needs were catered to whilst the chef ensured that our stomachs were full at all times. All this under the watchful supervision of Shonali, the owner. Best part was that the place is also pet friendly. Will definitely visit again and without hesitation, recommend it to everyone.

Very beautiful resort where you can unwind with leisure. VERY GOOD ROOMS, surrounded with lush greenery and a big swimming pool which can be maintained better. A resort with ocean view, food is ok but bit overpriced. Overall a beautiful weekend getaway near mumbai.
