Fratelli Vineyards

We went for an overnight stay and this was probably one of the best experiences I have ever had!! Right from the place to hospitality to food and of course, the wines, top Notch!!! Special mention to Ravi for making the stay so comfortable with a detailed Vineyard tour. Really impressed with the staff. Kudos!!

Awesome time we had in Fratelli vineyards.It offered a warm hospitality,intheir beautiful accommodation,a lovely tour to their orchards which was so picturesque that it is difficult to describe,the amazing sunset took our breath. The staff is very polite and hospitable,the food was amazing and so was the serving. Overall a unique and exceptional stay

This was my third trip to Fratelli vineyard and I must say that my experience gets better with every trip. To begin with the roads are getting better and broader and hence easier to drive. The addition of new wines are great, the new M/S range is so good. The room cleanliness and staff has greatly improved and I would give them a 10 on 10 rating for that. Special mention to Bhola who made a very sincere effort to cook as per our requirements and of course Ravi who helped with everything from wine tasting to drive to the machan and also the distillery. Overall a great trip

Our stay at Fratelli was excellent. This place is superb with personalised services by the staff at Fratelli-Ravi, Bhola, Tai served us the best. Highly recommended for best Vineyard vacation.

Excellant Rooms & service with home cooked meals, with polite and caring staff. Winery tour was excellent. Ravi was quite informative. Visit to Machan to witness the sunset with a glass of very nice wine was exciting. Will definitely be there again.

We went for an overnight stay to Fratelli Vineyards in Solapur . They have a total of 4 rooms of which 3 are always available . The rooms are beautiful - large , clean, sir conditioned with ensuite bathrooms and the rooms open out onto the lawns in case you'd like to have your morning tea outdoors . Our package included welcome wine on arrival, lunch - which we selected the Indian option - chef Bhola served us an excellent meal including the chicken. We did the factory visit - factory is adjoining the accomodation- which was interesting and lasted an hour . After this we departed for the machan in an open top jeep built atop a hillock in the vineyards where we were served light snacks and more wine . We watched an amazing sunset and an equally amazing moonrise with clear starry skies . Our drive back to the accommodation sitting in the open jeep along a dirt road through the village was just amazing with the cool fresh night air hitting our faces and aromas of food being cooked in local homes wafting through the air . After quickly freshening up we had a wine tasting with 6 wines on offer plus Fratelli cheese , crackers and nuts . For dinner we opted for Italian as one of the partners in the project is Italian and when they visit the place every month - they teach the chef Italian dishes . While the soup , salad and pizza were nice , the pasta was just average and the chicken undercooked and underspiced . However the thrill of sitting outdoors under the starry sky , sipping wine and watching Bueno Sera , Mrs Campbell on the screen made up for it . We had a good breakfast of poha and omelette with toast . All in all , an amazing holiday and destination ! Worth revisiting .

A great experience. A beautiful and inspiring place that tells you where the world is going - people from across continents and cultures have become friends, and then have come together and taken a collective leap of faith. They have combined high-end wine-making skills with seeing the potential of cultivating the vines at completely unconventional and non-intuitive locations. And they have stayed with the investment and the project for the past two decades, to build a brand to reckon with. The idyll surroundings, the smiling staff (they are not fluent in English, though - this could be an issue for those who do not know Hindi, Marathi), and their complete openness in explaining and showing the wine-making process all added to the experience.

Visited Fratelli Vineyard on our way back from Pune to Hyderabad. The location is great, very serene and peaceful. The fact that they have only four rooms, makes for a peaceful stay without crowds. The rooms are excellent, large ad well equipped. A mini fridge would have been great to have in the room. Staff were excellent. Very helpful and informative. Special mention of Ravi, who was with us for the entire day from welcome drink, to the Vinery tour, Wine tasting and visit to the Machan. He was very knowledgable and helpful. Food was very good, very much like home cooked food. The cook was very good and gave us a choice of dishes. Overall, a very exceptionally enjoyable stay. Can't recommend Fratelli highly enough.
