Cigad Hotel and Resort

Quiet and peaceful place, manager was very cordial, room was clean and food was good. Loved the food especially not too oily bhajias lovely cofee by poolside. Staff gave prompt service and was helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed daytime stay.

Had a great stay in CIGAD RESORT. I would recommend people who love beach should try this place it is very to beach much to explore. Food was yum , definitely I will be visiting again in this place. The staffs are good in nature very helpful and polite. Overall a one of good place I have visited.

We spent Saturday night here with all cousins and family as Group of 16ppl. This property is old and definitely need renovation. Swimming size is good but not maintained, rooms are big and good but furniture inside room needs lot of repairs or even replacement. Food I good but quantity is very small. Even though property is near sea, You will have view of village and mountains. Over all ok ok place.

Had a family outing (3couples). Had food in room and tried their restaurant both bfast and lunch/dinner Rooms - the rooms are quite spacious, but not maintained , there are cleanliness issues. Services- the staff is very courteous and quick Food- they have an elaborate menuwith multipe cuisines, where you can order in room or sit in the restaurant and eat. Good tasty food. Would recommend their seafood. Location- It's remotely located 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from our lady of velankanni church. They have a swimming pool 4 feet deep which is worth enjoying with breakfast at the poolside. Had a good time, and good service. Like i said the room maintainence could be better. But worth the price. The location got 4 stars as the room view is not so great. *If you go to Cigad, request for the rooms on 2nd floor as they were renovated recently.*

Overall everything is good about this place. I have been there three to four times and used both first and second floor rooms in my visits. staffs are very nice and friendly they assist you politely. Food is really great. Should try their omelette sandwich. Timings are adjustable which a very good advantage of this place. Rooms are very spacious like there is 1living room with sofa and tv and the bedroom but it could be better if it was just 1 room with everything as if we can only watch TV sitting outside on the sofa. The only dislike about this place is the view, you won't be able to see any view outside the windows but just the trees as the windows are on the opposite side.

A fantastic place to go to, away from the hustle bustle of the gorai/uttan area. If you want a good peaceful time with your family or want to enjoy with friends, this resort is perfect for you. The best part of your stay will undoubtedly be the food. The food served here is gourmet style that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Absolutely delicious goan and authentic maharashtrian food. My favourites are the pomfret curry and the prawn starters. It's a great place to be. If you haven't visited yet, I strongly suggest to go as soon as possible. Special shoutout to the owner Mr.Aurelius Almeida for making us feel at home with his hospitality and a friendly attitude. Until next time!

Excellent hotel with excellent Room and location located at the Uttan beach with food service very nice extremely clean Rooms & comfortable room service & staff we Will definitely come again

Hotel manager Mr Mohit is well mannered person. He welcome us with full honour. Rooms service is also very good. They served our orders in time.
