This hotel is Holiday home for Union Bank India employees and situated at near about 1km from market. I visited with my family and stayed for 2 days. Hotel ambiance and the service is top class. Veg food was also delicious. The swimming pool and indoor activities are awesome. There is a dance room at the bottom floor where uncan enjoy dance at night time. Overall good experience. Recommend!! Tip- Just be aware of monkeys!

A Memorable Stay at Usha Ascort - Felt Like Family! I had a surprise booking at Usha Ascort for my son's birthday for 2 nights and 3 days, but we were so mesmerized by the beautiful property, serene ambience, spacious rooms, inviting pool, and delicious food that we ended up extending our stay by another night and day! What truly made our experience unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality shown by the entire team. A special thanks to Ms. Shivani, the reception team, Vineet, Deepak, and all the ancillary and supporting staff - each one of them treated us with such kindness, politeness, and genuine care that we truly felt like part of the Usha Ascort family. A small piece of feedback: we did notice a few insects, ants, and flying cockroaches in the room. While we understand this is due to the lush greenery all around, taking a few extra precautions would help enhance the overall comfort for guests. Kudos to the entire Usha Ascort team for making our celebration so special. We're already looking forward to visiting again - and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and warm getaway!

My recent stay at Usha Ascot, Matheran, was thoroughly disappointing and far from what one expects at a hospitality establishment. Right from the check-in, the staff at the reception were rude and unprofessional, especially Mr. Kishore, who showed no courtesy in addressing concerns or queries.He was extremely rude. One of the most unacceptable aspects of the stay was their rigid and illogical policy of charging a child above 2 years as an extra person. When I questioned this, the staff were extremely adamant, insisted that it was part of their policy, and even showed me a printed rule stating the same. This might be their internal rule, but it is highly unreasonable--especially when no additional bed or facility was provided for the child. Adding to the frustration, my booking clearly mentioned a welcome drink, but when I asked for it, they flatly refused. The response I received was shocking--they bluntly said they "never give welcome drinks", and that even if it is written in the booking, they were not bothered. So, while they are very particular and rigid about enforcing unfair policies like charging extra for children, they completely ignore the benefits or inclusions that are clearly promised at the time of booking. Further, the check-in experience was poor. The room boy forgot to hand over the access key, and when I called the reception, it took nearly 40 minutes for them to send someone with it. Given that the area has no mobile network, it took almost 2 hours and multiple follow-ups just to receive the Wi-Fi password. The children's play area was dirty and unsafe, with rusted swings and broken equipment, making it completely unusable. Despite this, they continued their trend of unreasonable charges--even asking for extra money just to use a shuttlecock for badminton so I politely refused. Overall, the hotel appears more interested in extracting money through unfair policies rather than offering a welcoming and hospitable experience. I would strongly advise against staying here, especially for families. The management seriously needs to reevaluate its approach to service, customer satisfaction, and integrity.

I am a regular guest visitor of this resort. I live near Matheran and often visit it, so my preferred holiday destination is Usha Ascot having experienced someother as well. All the serving staff including the booking reception to dining hall and room service staff are good. I generally like the food taste, but this time on my stay on 10th to 12th May, I found it somewhat lacking. I request the Management to look into improving the taste of all the items and dining hall service, which left me somewhat dissatisfied with this one time. My husband and me stayed here in December. It has always been our favourite place in Matheran. Because of the following reasons: 1. tasty food. They even make non spicy on request. 2. comfortable rooms. 3. good service. 4. very entertaining evenings by the pool with live singing of bollywood songs. the singer is very nice. 5. housie by the pool. 6. puppet show and magic show. Overall a very pleasant stay

Great hotel, must visit. Had visited last week with my wife and son. They have superb breakfast and dinner with lot of options and dinner with live music. Staff is very polite and helpful. Huge property with swimming pool, badminton court and other games. Child friendly they helped a lot to make baby food with proper hygiene. Location is also nice, 1km from matheran station but near to points.

Usha Ascot is one of the best hotels in Matheran. Situated at 20 min walking distance from the railway station, this property is very neat clean and well maintained. The pool is also clean. U can enjoy live music on Weekends.
