The Byke Brightland Adventure Park & Resort - Matheran

We recently stayed at Byke Brightland, Matheran, and had an amazing experience! The food quality at the hotel was absolutely superb -- every meal was delicious and satisfying. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making our stay extremely comfortable. The service was exceptional -- the staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help. The only minor challenge we faced was in locating the hotel initially. It would be helpful if the hotel name is clearly mentioned at more points along the way to guide guests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience -- we give it a solid 10/10! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Matheran.

Our recent visit to The Byke Brightland Adventure Park and Resort, Matheran was a mix of positives and negatives.||Getting There:|Be aware that private cars are not allowed in Matheran. A private car can be taken till Dasturi, but for ola/Uber and travel vehicles, you'll need to park down and take a shared cab (100 per person) to Dasturi Naka. From there, locals will aggressively offer horse rides (quoted 1500 for two in our case) or hand-pulled rickshaws (800), often insisting it's a long 4-5 km walk, especially if you're with children. This pressure felt quite uncomfortable. In reality, shared electric rickshaws are available from Dasturi to Matheran Market for just 35 per person. From the market, the resort is only a 1.2 km walk -- we did it comfortably with our 3.5-year-old daughter.||The Property:|The resort is an old property spread over a large area. The swimming pool is good, but it would be better if there were a separate section for kids and flotation tubes provided.||Food:|This was a highlight! All meals -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- are included, completely vegetarian, and offer great variety. Absolutely outstanding food quality.||Rooms & Facilities:|This is where the resort needs a major revamp. The rooms look shabby, the linens had stains and were not clean. Basic amenities like an in-room tea/coffee setup were missing, which is expected at this price point. The indoor games section (carrom and table tennis) is in poor condition and needs an upgrade.||Entertainment & Service:|The live performances, karaoke, and Friday night lights were excellent and added a lot of value to our stay. Staff and managers were courteous and helpful -- when we requested khichdi and milk for our daughter, they happily provided it.||Navigation:|A major downside is the lack of signage or directions to any of the resorts in Matheran, making it difficult to find your way.||Overall:|While the property has potential and offers a peaceful experience with great food and decent entertainment, it urgently needs improvements in cleanliness, room quality, and guest facilities. This was overvalued, below 3k can be ok as per the standard and facilities not more than that.

I had a wonderful experience at Byke Brightland. The rooms and washrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the resort itself is beautifully designed. The food was delicious, and the swimming pool added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Ashish, who assisted us with a smooth and hassle-free check-in and check-out process. The only suggestion I have is to include a tea maker in the room, which would be especially helpful for guests staying overnight who wish to enjoy tea at their convenience. Overall, a great stay - highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Byke Brightland resort and it exceeded my expectations. The luxurious rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, with modern amenities. The staff provided exceptional service, being friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The resort's grounds were beautifully maintained, with a sparkling pool. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a variety of options. Overall, Byke Brightland offered a tranquil and luxurious experience, making it perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. I highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

Rooms, &!Service and Location are Very Good.Food is great. The restaurant staff is very courteous especially Dinesh. After Dinner we had a Grand Musical evening with Great Golden Era Songs sung by Shri Ashok Parmar. He was accompanied by his Sound artist added up a Special Touch. It was a well Rounded and a Memorable Experience. Some minor issues were there which I have given my suggestions which I hope will be taken care of by my next Trip.

We had a wonderful experience at the resort from check-in to check-out. The entire stay was smooth and enjoyable. A special highlight was the live music by Singer Ashok ji - his performance truly added charm to our evenings. The food was delicious, the ambience was lovely, and every staff member we interacted with was courteous and helpful. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Check-in Process: The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff was friendly, and the lobby was welcoming. The way Ashish handled guests was very nice. Room Quality: The room was comfortable, with a comfortable bed, basic furniture and adequate amenities. The bathroom was clean and neat. Location: The hotel's location was convenient, with nearby points and restaurant Value for Money: Given the price, I felt that the hotel provided good value for money. Overall, this hotel is good.

I have visited this place with my family. it was a wonderful experience with complete fun including live singing by Mr. Ashok Parmar who's voice is melodious, Dj night, juggler show, as well as the puppet show. My family enjoyed the tasty and delicious food. It is very near to Matheran railways station, just 15 min walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed adventure activities too.
