Gujarat Bhavan Hotel can be a good option for families seeking a comfortable stay with good food and amenities, especially if they are not overly concerned with the condition of older rooms & bit higher room rent. Since they have good cleanliness / hygine , the Dininig Hall Manager Mr. Vijay Maharaj especially is very attentive & cooperative. Overall I would like to rate it 4/5 , the only concern is high room rent I experienced, which is beyond 9500 Rs for one night , in my recent visit on 10th /11th April 2025.

Superb Experience the service is very good and very proactive. They serve Best and hygiene food in matheran. Room are also clean and maintain hygiene wise they also have ample of garden area for the kids. Good place to stay in matheran also at walkable distance from matheran station

The room was clean and..staff was good.....food was very good @ vijay maharj the chef of Gujarat Bhavan matheran..tea coffee.. breakfast.lunch dinner ..stay all r excellent..sukun place at matheran ..we r happy to visit gujarat bhavan and good experience with working staffs and head of Gujarat Bhavan.

Located in peaceful surrounding away from market hustle & bustle. Food is good with decent varieties but basis last reviews I was expecting more. Taste wise good.Staff is excellent to respond & resolve your issues. Cleanliness is a concern in rooms & dinning area. Also most of children playing area slides are rusted & can hurt kids. Also more flexibility from the Management will be appreciated by guests. Rest nice option for vegetarian lovers.

I had a pleasant stay in GB.Their food, services, ambience, staff, proximity of the location, security, room service, pool was all spotless and upto the mark.They serve food very pleasantly,moreover menu is not repeated ,freshly made and served.Mr.Anand gave me the best deal.Its a highly secured place with 24 x 7 services available. I strongly recommend GB.
