Nice, clean, spacious rooms with great view and surrounded by greenery. Staff is very polite and helpful. Really enjoyed stay here with my kid. Swimming pool was also clean and entire property is well maintained. If you want to go to Matheran to relax then this is the best hotel. 500 m from main market. Only food is not available but overall good experience.

Well the rooms are clean , but consider my review.They will tell they provide service for food and will deliver it to the hotel . But here they do the scam , they will give the menu to you and when you order food they will bring food from a cheaper hotel and charge you the same price from the menu they provide so if you order food of 1000rs he will bring food of 500rs from the cheap hotel and earn profit from it ,make sure you stay there and eat from outside .

Rooms were spacious & clean. Bedsheets, blankets were fresh, hot water was available from morning 7 to 11 am. Toilets were clean. Housekeeping staff ensured the surrounding area is kept clean. Power backup is available incase of power failure Property is near to Matheran railway station. They have swimming pool too. We visited in peak monsoon so the weather was awesome. Would like to appreciate Mr. Bhaskar Shinde who was very polite & he personally ensured that our stay was comfortable. Overall a great experience

Amazing Experience at Gokul Villa in Matheran I recently stayed at Gokul Villa during my visit to Matheran, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a peaceful escape from city life. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured that we had everything we needed during our stay. We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden and relaxing ambiance throughout the resort. The resort's proximity to the main market and popular viewpoints was very convenient as well.

Pros: 1) It's a newly constructed property. 2) Rooms are very clean & spacious. 3) Toilet is clean and all the sanitary fittings are clean and in good condition which will give you a luxurious feeling. 4) All rooms are fully air conditioned. 5) Power backup available in case of electricity failure. 6) You will get a balcony, with a roof extending beyond the main building, in it you can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner with a great vibes of nature. But be careful of monkeys, they can ruin your enjoyment while eating. 7) Good Wifi coverage with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps. I have checked it through Google speed test. 8) Latest Android TV, cupboard, Dressing table. 9) Blanket, pillow, and bedsheet were cleaned and they did not smell. This is the main factor in Matheran. By reading most of the hotel's reviews you will notice that beddings are dirty and smell bad. 10) Staff is supportive and polite, especially service boy Mr. Monuraj. Even manager Mr. Sikandar bhai is very helpful. Cons: 1) Usually it is more expensive than others but if you see the above pros it is worth it. Prices are different on weekdays and weekends. 2) Hot water is available between morning 7 to 10. They have a solar plant but hot water is not coming from it. It was just like lukewarm water. If you come back by sightseeing in the evening you will have to bathe in cold water. You don't have any choice. But this is the same condition mostly in the entire Matheran. 3) It is 550 meters away from Matheran Railway station and bazaar. So to have food in good restaurants and to book horses for sightseeing you should have to walk min 700 meters and come back again by walking the same distance. You can also order your food at your room by requesting Mr. Monuraj. He will bring it for you. If you want to stay in a less crowded area then it will be a better choice. 4) No toiletries given except hand wash which is permanently fitted in the bathroom. 5) No exhaust fan & mirror in the toilet. By comparing hotels in Matheran I found this one is better than others. I will definitely suggest everyone to stay in this hotel to make your trip better.

The staff is pathetic they use a child to do the work. It's totally CHILD ABUSE. the propeety is good but the care taker is just horrible. No service at all. We were not allowed to sit in the varanda after 11pm. No hot water only in the mornings for 15 mins. I would not recomend to stay at this property if u want your leasuire.
