Sushegad beach resort

We had a lovely stay at Sushegad Beach Resort with our family. The place is well kept, clean, and has a peaceful vibe. The staff is very helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. While there's no in-house kitchen, they do arrange food if you place your order in advance, which worked out well for us. We stayed in the top cottage, and the view of the sea from there was beautiful. Overall, it is a great place to unwind and enjoy the beach!

I stayed there for three days, it is situated near seashore, offers a beautiful beach view, rooms were clean and had beautiful wooden walls and texture. Rooms have AC and WiFi facilities with clean toilets. It is situated at centre place so it is convenient for visiting Devgad at north and devbagh at south end. Caretaker Narayan Keluskar was very friendly and helpful, gave valuable insights so that we can visit maximum places within limited time.

Disappointing Experience at Sushegad Beach Resort Our recent stay at Sushegad Beach Resort was far from the relaxing getaway we had envisioned. Despite the allure of its location, the experience left much to be desired. Here's why: 1. Misleading Beach View Claims The claim of being a "beach-facing" resort is highly exaggerated. All eight rooms have small balconies, but calling them beach-facing is a stretch. Even the so-called premium view only offers a glimpse of the beach through the left corner of your eye, obstructed by nets and other barriers. It felt more like a game of "spot the beach" than enjoying a true beachfront view. 2. Nonexistent Restaurant Facilities The owner proudly mentioned a restaurant on-site, but this turned out to be misleading. There wasn't even a cook available, let alone proper dining facilities. The absence of full-size plates added to the frustration, making meals feel like an afterthought. 3. Lackluster Complimentary Breakfast The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. Rather than offering options or even sufficient portions, it was a simple homemade meal prepared by the manager's wife. This might sound charming, but it lacked both variety and quantity, especially if you're hungry or looking for something substantial to start your day. 4. Ineffective Geyser If you're expecting a hot shower after a day at the beach, think again. The geyser barely provided lukewarm water, which was especially frustrating during cooler mornings. 5. Isolated Location with Little to Do While the room itself was decent, the surrounding area offered little in terms of activities or attractions, making the overall experience quite dull. If you're looking for a place to stay with basic amenities and decent service, this resort might not meet your expectations. For us, it felt like a missed opportunity for what could have been a memorable seaside escape.

Superb Ambience!!! Neat and Clean place. Rooms are beautiful. Location is best. Good Hospitality Staff. Very kind and supportive Owner. Reception staff is very helpful. I would strongly recommend to Families , Bachelors and Nightout people's.

The location of the place is just amazing. The view of the sea from the room is what gets all the points!! The beach is a stone's throw away and is clean and beautiful with plenty of sea sports options. We were two families- stayed for two days. The rooms are nicely and unusually done up and are very comfortable. For food we had to walk a very short distance to nearby hotels where we got the freshest and tastiest varieties of fish. Few things I would like to point out: We felt they were very pricey for a place that offers no food...not even breakfast. We were asked not to operate the geysers and AC together. Also, the small size geysers did not provide enough hot water for one person also at a time, suggest using solar geysers or other alternative... One expects that of a beach-side resort. At night the place has no staff on-site and the guests are left to themselves there.... Quite unsettling.

Lovely place for family, less crowded beach compared to takarli. Staff is very polite and helpful. Only one issue I faced is wifi not connecting in ground floor room. Rest wonderful stay.

Awesome experience!!!it was my first visit to Malvan and this is the perfect resort in this location.. We travelled from dubai, i thank to the staff to give us prompt and hassle free booking. Beautiful and cozy Wooden cottages,Clean linens..breezy sea winds in the balcony were really comforting.. beach and surroundings are quite clean and less crowded...i am looking forward to visit again soon...
