I stayed in Wooden Beach Cottage right in front of the beach. The view from the cottage is amazing. The sibling hosts (Vikas & Yojana) were the best hosts and made our stay comfortable and memorable. They will guide you on nearby attractions and serves tasty home-made sea food as per your request. The must try should be Surmai Thali, Crab Thali, Prawns Thali, Ghavan-Chutney, and Solkadi. The food served is fresh, hot, and healthy. Must recommended resort in case you are looking for beach resort and tasty food. The charges are worth based on the services.

I wish I could get change to rate in minus to such worst and pathetic place.|Owner has attitude and lot of arrogance of prime location and hence he behaved as he can do anything.|All we went to water activities so got little late he throw out our all expensive materials and bags and clothes outside, some are thrown out of wall. While asking they were in their own arrogance and rude behaviour.|Owner was threading us by saying give me their id card I will show them and see how will they go from here and abusing to all of ladies|Pls don't visit to such pathetic and rude owners place.|Vikas is owner is threading us very badly to all of ladies |Service is 0 we asked for floor cleaning the said do it by yourself. We literally have to clean floor by ourselves.|Rooms condition are very bad and not maintained at all . Spiderweb , unclean floor and rooms

If you want to spoil your money and mood then this is the perfect place!!||Firstly there is no board indicating the cottages. Then you have to drive your car through a narrow passage to go nearby. Then you have to walk to the cottage. Except location everything is worst!!||Anyone will wonder why it is called a Resort!! 3 cottages only and that's the every thing this so called resort has.||Now from the check in the horror show starts. The arrogant owner asks for 100% tariff at the time of check in only n in return he gives you the worst hospitality and service. He and the old arrogant, egoistic lady will take utmost care to spoil your mood.||We purchased prawns n gave him to prepare which weighted 500gms but he considered it as 1 kg n told that the waste parts of prawns which we left at market will also be included in making charges!!! So illiterate!! 400 rs per kg he charged which is usually 300 rs/kg n every hotel weighs whatever quantity of fish you give for preparation but this illiterate owner weighs the waste part which you leave at market also. By his logic he charges you 800Rs per kg preparation charges!!There are two types of beggers one type directly begs you and the second type beggers are like this.||We had booked it for two nights but we did check out after one night only. ||Read all reviews you will notice many such reviews of this so called resort. Positive reviews seems to be of the local paid reviews.

This trip was in March 2019.||Yojana & Vikas (siblings) are great host.||This property has only 3 cottages & it is right on the beach. ||The host had arranged for our scuba with a very reasonable rate.||Food was undoubtedly top class as it was home made local cuisine (one of the best seafood).||Although its not a luxury resort or hotel, but I can sure you that the service is unbeatable.||Its a must go place.

We had a very bad experience at Shining sand beach resort. ACs not working, child fell into plant pit since they were not filled up. Service is worst. They say breakfast is complementary but count every slice of bread. 3rd morning we brought our own bread. Over and above the staff was arrogant when we complained. Inspite of making 75% of payment they came asking for balance on 2nd night itself while we were to stay for a day more. Blessing in disguise was one couple staying at a nearby cottage where service was excellent. Hence we cud take lunch and dinner there. Dont consider this as s routine feedback. Strictly avoid this place.
