Had a wonderful stay at Costel! The room was clean and cozy, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and served with care. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

"Perfect Spot for Group Trips in Malvan!" Costel is hands down the best (and only!) hostel option in Malvan for backpackers and groups. The dorm setup is ideal, with 12 clean and comfy bunk beds in a spacious hall, plus a separate private room that's perfect for families. What really makes this place special are the hosts--Desai Kaka and Kaku. They're incredibly warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to make your stay feel like home. They helped us plan local sightseeing, water sports, and even arranged transport when needed. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious--especially the fresh Malvani fish thali and chicken curry, full of authentic local flavors. There's also plenty of parking space for bikes and cars, which made things super convenient for our group. Highly recommend Costel if you're looking for a laid-back, memorable Konkan getaway!

It's a affordable dormitory type hostel suitable for bachelors and groups of friends. We stayed here for 3 nights and our experience was good with few conditions. Pros: 1. Big airy AC room and huge balcony to spend time 2. Games, speaker and books available for entertainment 3. Owner Desai is very kind and helped us book the water sports at affordable prices 4. Parking available Cons: 1. Some of the bedsheets were not clean. We had to replace them 2. Toilet is basic with low water pressure 3. No toiletries or towels provided

I was there for 4 days.. It was really good experience... Owner Desai Sir is kind and will help you find good places,bike and food... Costel is good for both solo travellers and group...

Costel is one of the best and affordable hostel in malvan. The owner is also friendly and of good nature and also guide us to travel some great places . They also provide scooty on rent which was also affordable also hostel have some good amenities like chess, carrom and few books to read also they have a wonderful balcony where you can enjoy a cup of tea with a greenery view

Staying at Costel was a delightful surprise! The cleanliness of the place was impressive and the simplicity of the interior design created such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The fact that they provide AC at such an affordable rate was a pleasant bonus. 1) Convenient location within walking distance from the bus station. 2) affordable for solo travellers 3) great food 4) clean place 5) peaceful living

Had booked the private room for a weekend. The room was worth the price and two people can easily stay. Bunk beds space is best suited for solo travelers or friends in groups. It's in kudal-malvan road and before the malvan town. Very peaceful surroundings and clean place. The food provided was home made and yum. One suggestion is to provide basic bath accessories like soap shampoo etc.
