Enjoied one night stay with friends in april 2025 Tondavali talashil beach can abaorb big crowd as too long beach with sangam point and a lot of stay options. We like this location as we got both the front sea face and river view in back side. Location as well as the food and service is the most important part of any stay which is very nicely manged by the owner NIPUN with very affordable prices After deleciuos brakefast we enjoied sea. Nearly an hour in water makes us hungry and nipun did the job to fulfill our toung. He arranged special KALAWA MASALA( must try for non veg lovers) and WADA KOMBADA for us. Two of us were veggie. They were treated with VATANA USAL and homemade AMRAS. 10/10 for home made FOOD by KAKI and family As we were here for short period decided to back with family next time.

Visited 22 to 24 dec 24 with friends Beach is awsome low crowded . Clean . You can see dolphin in the morning from 7.15 to 8 .15 came from rocks in the sea . Food is good . Right side of resort is sea n left side river superb location peaceful.

Nice location and food is tasty and affordable. Mr. Nipun and his mother treats us like their own family guests. Overall wonderful experience.

We had one night one day stay at Athang. Stay was amazing and we enjoyed a lot. Rooms are neat and clean. They also provide homemade veg and non-veg food. We enjoyed best break-fast, lunch and dinner. We can enjoy ice-cream too, as Mr. Nipun, the owner of this resort, is distributor for Amul in this area. If you like to stay in nature this will be best place to stay. Mr. Nipun with his friend Mr. Amol also arrange boat ride. Boat ride in Kandalvan(Mangroves forest), Jua island, Sangam point in gad river, boat ride in deep sea for Shimpla Island, Kavada rock was memorable, if you are lucky you can see the dolphins too. To enjoy the nature in Talashil, one day stay is not enough, we must plan for more than 2 days. The beach was amazing, deep at few places. Thanks Nipun and Amol for making our trip memorable..

Athaang Resort is probably one of the Best Rustic Realistic Resort situated at Tondavali - Malvan Region - 30 minutes drive from Malvan Bus Depot. Very decent and spacious AC room with all Basic Amenities, alongwith backup Generator which helps with Fan and lights in case of power Failure. Key factor is it's location - next to a River and across street is the Sea, near which homemade food is served with attention and care along with Dolphin sightings from their homely restaurant area itself. Rare and beautiful confluence of River, Sea, Great Host Family, Homemade Delicious Food served as per requirement. Host has good connections with like minded localities, right from Mr Amol - who wholeheartedly gave a extended time boat ride where lifelong memorable Dolphins were sighted at hands distance and also a Eagle in a nest within meters, Mr Adkar lovingly showcased his handmade creations of Shell artifacts, walkable distance from Athang Resort, along with Mr Raja - Car service, please negotiate the rates upfront. Mr Nipun - Host/ Man Friday / One Man Army is truly the icing of the Cake along with his Gracious Mother and Wife who support him wholeheartedly - No words can describe Mr Nipun attention to detail with Customer Satisfaction being his only motto. The place is calm and the stay is very comfortable. The owner Nipun is very humble and we liked how small details were being taken care of, from booking till checkout. The homemade food was very delicious. The beach is very clean. A must visit place for someone who wants peace of mind.

We stayed here in Jan 2024, and it was a wonderful experience. The stay has beach on one side and backwaters on the other. Located in a very calm area. As a host, Nipun was very helpful and amazing. Beach was clean and very few people were there. We even had my wife's birthday celebration on the beach, Nipun took care of all the arrangements for that. It was a wonderful experience. Rooms could be better, but the resort was pet friendly, so we could bring our puppy there as well.
