Grand Resort

We enjoyed a two-night stay in April 2025. The resort boasts a lovely natural ambiance, filled with large, mature trees, abundant plants and flowers, and a delightful chorus of birdsong. Even during the afternoon, we found the open-air restaurant pleasantly cool. The swimming pool was a decent size with refreshing water. The rooms were adequately sized, though some could benefit from interior updates. Ample parking was available. The staff were consistently polite and courteous. We were graciously upgraded to a better room, thanks to the owner, who resides on the property and ensures attentive service. Ms. Kusum at reception was particularly helpful and kind. While the food was satisfactory, we felt the prices were somewhat high. The property is expansive and could benefit from additional maintenance and cleaning.

It has a very quiet atmosphere with an abundant green cover available here. The rooms are cozy and the staff are very cordial. Any problems we faced were immediately attended by the staff even at odd hours. The owners of the property personally interacted with us to know our problems and liking. Our special thanks to the manager Miss Kusum for giving us a detailed introduction about the resort and also attending to our suggestions immediately. As promised in the website we found all the facilities like the swimming pool, games etc were totally functional and we enjoyed making use of them. A memorable experience.

Great place to stay in Nature with all required facilities. Very close to market but still very silent. Rooms have all basic required facilities. People, Service & food was great.

Truly, a paradise for nature lovers! Surrounded by lush plantation, this resort feels like a tiny forest, just 10 minutes' walk from the market. As you approach, the warm and rejuvenating vibes are palpable. The property is well-maintained, with a clean, covered swimming pool and a calming ambiance, especially in the evenings. The highlight is the well-trained and polite staff, who go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. From meal suggestions to arranging transport for sightseeing, they handle everything with enthusiasm. We stayed in the spacious Grandwood room, perfect for a family. Decent Wi-Fi speed made office work seamless, making this resort a great choice for workation. The menu may be limited, but the sumptuous dishes shine. A-la-carte preparations, like butter chicken and chicken Malvani, were not only delicious but also customized to suit our children's taste buds. Overall, a wonderful stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with great service, Grand Resort is a great choice.

One of the best places to stay in Mahabaleshwar! Though the property has been around since 1970, it is well maintained. The rooms are decent, and while the linens were clean, they seemed a bit aged and could use an upgrade. The staff was friendly and supportive, making the stay pleasant.

A Peaceful Retreat with Room for Improvement I recently stayed at this resort, nestled in a dense forest, and had a mixed experience. The rooms, although a bit old, were comfortable and well-maintained. However, they could benefit from a renovation to modernize the amenities. The resort's layout, with rooms scattered throughout the forest, provided a sense of exclusivity and privacy, which was a highlight of my stay. The room service was quick and efficient, but the food was average and limited in options. The absence of alcoholic drinks on the menu was noticeable. Unfortunately, some of the resort's facilities were not up to par. The children's play area was unusable due to the accumulation of dried leaves, and the restaurant was closed during my stay. Additionally, the indoor games area, featuring table tennis and pool, was also closed. On the positive side, the parking was sufficient, and the location was convenient, being close to the main town yet feeling secluded. Overall, this resort has the potential to be a wonderful retreat, but it needs to address some of its shortcomings, particularly in terms of food options, facilities, and maintenance.

It is very easy to find this property. The serenity and calm here gives pure physical and mental relaxation. This property is heaven for bird lovers. You can sit quietly on machaan and watch beautiful birds. I saw some rare species of squirrels which are of golden color. The staff is very cooperative and does not unduly disturb your peace. Food quality is also good if you allow them enough cooking time. I had fantastic family holidays here.
