Rainwood Residency

Not good to visit again, very poor hygiene and cleanliness almost zero ... Staff was Dull.. room was pathetic. Uncleaned tables and mirror.. I have seen even a cockroach inside. The balcony's were not cleaned at all. Not a single person in reception and housekeeping was using a mask. I guess the pictures showed in the profile might have taken when the resort was started. Overall, a low maintained rainbow residency hotel... TV is placed just for showpiece.. Had to cancel the plan for staying six more days and come back. Bad experience.

Good location. Quiet greenery around Nice room(302) fully equipped with balcony. Restaurant tries its best to provide good food. But the guys at the reception seem to spend more time on their mobile than doing room cleaning and servicing.

Stayed for 3 nights and gave 5 stars in the beginning but there were some problems like. 1.Water was clogging in the bathroom and it made a small lake. 2.Wifi wasn't working. 3. I don't know what was wrong with the A/C but it wasn't cooling properly we were sweating. 4. My room was very near to the restaurant so lot of noise throughout the day so yeah forget the peaceful part. Things that I liked:- 1. Away from main city in a peaceful area. 2. Food was tasty although a bit expensive. 3. Near the railway station and city. 4. Staff behaved well.No disturbances (except the kitchen part).

Even though there's written that there's wifi they don't give you the password saying it's not available and it's only for the cameras. Service is really bad. No water is provided, no dustbin, no remote for AC. A lock on a door was broken and I complained to the staff and asked them to change the room and they straight forward denied to do so; even spoke to me rudely was going to walk away when I asked them to fix the lock. Which was denied too. This happened at 10pm in the night. Next day after complaining to the manager the room was changed. Which again didn't have water, glasses, dustbin etc. On reporting, I was asked to get the dustbin from outside the room. Also, nobody offered to carry the luggage we had to ask them to carry the luggage. Food is extremely overpriced and they do not take the entire payment for food furing checkout instead we have to pay them immediately after we order any little thing. Even tea or cold drink. Poor rooms. With bunk beds and no space to walk. Poor uncleaned balcony. Unclean bedsheet and pillows. There's music always playing in the hotel, when we asked thrn to turn it off they clearly said it's not possible. The music goes on in the morning and at night. No peace. The kitchen staff denied to give us plates on the third day saying since no food is ordered from the kitchen they will not provide with plates when outside food is allowed by the hotel. Also, they did not deny it on the first go. We had asked for the plates and they said they food. 15 mins after when we called again they said they wouldn't. Very bad experience. The hotel should shut down.

Wouldn't recommend this place for stay to anyone. They are least bothered about customers once they get money. There is no hospitality at all. So it was 2 am in morning and we just wanted 1 bottle of mineral water but the guy on reception straight away denied it and said kitchen is closed and we can't give you now. So i said ok give me regular jug of water, he said even that is not possible. We were never informed that after 11 they don't give water or room service. It is really inhumane of these people to deny water whatever time it be and its not like I wasn't ready to compromise on bottled water, they even denied to give normal water. So I had to walk 1km at 2am to get water from some other hotel nearby. So again in morning, we wanted bottled water no one was answering call in kitchen so we called reception, they said sir you need to yourself go and take water if kitchen department is not answering calls. So overall there is no concept of hospitality or room service. Go at your own risk and carry your own water.

there is a comfortable lounge where you can sit and drink tea, or just read. There is also a splendid terrace, where, you can relax and immerge yourself from morning onwards in the atmosphere of Venetian daily life, watching the city travelling about by water and people gathering together and filling the alleyways and little squares with their chatter. The rooms are arranged on the first, second and third floors. On the top floor, there is also a delightful terrace or solariumavailable for the use of guests, from where you can enjoy the wonderful view. The buffet breakfast is served in the lounge on the ground floor, and also outside on our little patio during the summer months. The hotel provides an internet point, and a Wi-Fi service.

Drove up from Mumbai to spend the Holi weekend in peace. And it was perfect. The staff, the room and the ambience were all good as expected. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a clothesline and space enough to sit, sip coffee and stare at the hills. It provided for a perfect weekend getaway. The place has gated parking and is within a 10min drive off the main city road.

Nice staff and restaurant manager was very good and friendly. Food was good and tasty. Only thing to improve is room quality. As our balcony door and bathroom door lock we're not working. Before handing over to customer they should verify the room condition. Overall good experience and excellent service
