Hotel Gautam Lonavala

Absolutely pathetic experience. This hotel is a complete scam. They are literally looting people. This place isn't even worth 1000 a night, and they have the audacity to charge over 7000 -- for what? Nothing at all. No basic amenities in the room -- no fridge, no locker -- forget those, the room itself was filthy and disgusting. It felt like staying in a shady, two-bit lodge. The staff behaved exactly like they were running a third-rate dharamshala, but the rates are like some five-star luxury resort. Seriously, such a rip-off The pictures online are completely misleading. They fool the public with polished images, but in reality, it's a dead, depressing place. No music system, no vibe, no energy -- felt like attending a funeral, not staying at a hotel. The only halfway decent thing about the property is that it looks like a Rajasthani Haveli from the outside -- that's it. Don't expect anything beyond that. No restaurant, no facilities, no hospitality. The swimming pool is another joke -- cramped in a verandah, dirty water, and during swimming hours, they were "cleaning" it by scooping water out with buckets! Absolutely disgusting. If you're thinking about staying here, save yourself the regret. Stay in a better place where they understand hospitality. If the booking wasn't non-refundable, I would have walked out within five minutes.

Having stayed at 50+ hotels, this was by far the WORST experience ever!|The room was not well-maintained and my towel had a hole in it!!|The hospitality was just awful - the TV did not work and despite telling them thrice - no one came to check it. They have zero service sense!|We had a confirmed two-day booking and yet we were KICKED OUT BECAUSE OF THEIR MESS. The owner didn't bother responding, and Sameer was extremely rude--zero professionalism and kept on lying!||The hotel looks nice only in photos but the reality is far from it. |There are thousands of properties in Lonavala - pls go to some other place. |If you're looking for comfort, service, and a hassle-free stay, stay FAR away from this place. |Would NOT recommend it to anyone!

Its was a good experience as this is a wedding setup. The only thing is there was no water in cooler which is why we felt very hot.. and second thing is for main wedding vidhi, they arranged the stage on one side of the pool and kept the chairs on the other side due to which audience couldn't enjoy the view as the couple were too far, management could be better!

Rooms are clean and cosy. Location is very close to railway station and bus station. If you are looking for any hill station experience then you have to travel to outskirts of the city. Ideal place for wedding functions.

Gautam Hotel is a super destination wedding location in Lonavala!! In early Feb 2025 we stayed for two days at this resort for our son's wedding which included Haldi, Sangeet & tradional wedding ceremonies. The place has a Jaipuri style architecture, which gives it a royal & ideal look for weddings. Our interface and manager was Mr. Vikas who is a great host, very confident, highly experienced at organizing events especially at this venue. He was present for all our pre-wedding discussion meetings and resolved our queries with patience and calm reassurance. He ensured that all promises about the rooms, cleaning, and stay arrangements were delivered as agreed. The caterer (Mr. Abhi Bhanushali) and decorator (Mr. Shiraj) suggested by Mr. Vikas were two big pillars of support for us throughout our wedding function. While Shiraj bhai has a serious business look, he has a heart of gold. He listened carefully to our wishes related to decoration and finally provided us a beautiful set of decors for each event. His team was always present and ready to support some of our last minute requests too. What surprised us was the punctuality of his teams - the decor workers, the horse, the band, sound engineers, DJ, LED wall - all perfectly on time for each ceremony! Thank you Shiraj bhai and Toufeeq bhai, you made it so easy and simple for us. The catering services were a class apart. We asked to include one South Indian meal and Mr. Abhi made it authentic with staff dressed in traditional south indian lungis serving delicious items on banana leaves! The Sangeet dinner in the lawn was a great spread. His staff was courteous, alert and attended to the guests with due care. The grand wedding lunch with the special new decor he had arranged was appreciated by all who attended. The food was super and people loved the items which his team had laid out so carefully for us. Abhi has a passion for food and is a pleasure to interact with, always positive and cheerful, with interesting alternatives & suggestions. We wish him and his team (including Tanaji) great success in his endeavours.

I had been there for a wedding... It's actually only made for destination wedding.. Small rooms, food was delicious but the class was poor. Constructed for a wedding location only. One very bad we had. There is No Toilet besides in room.. If any guest wants to use washroom he or she has to beg for keys of a room to someone... Absolutely unpredictable

Deserves less than 0 stars! The rooms are not well-maintained and the hospitality is even worse - the staff is rude and, unhelpful and so unprofessional. Food is also okok. Save yourself the disappointment and book elsewhere. There are many better properties in Lonavala.

Bad customer service. Trying to reach out for help and enquiry about wedding services no one answers. They keep directing me to different people and the last person just chose not to answer my messages and calls. Please work on your customer support process.
