Townhouse OAK Pavana Valley Resort

The only good part was the location. Location was absolutely scenic. Having said that , the condition of the tent was dreadful . There was leakage through the tents. The floor was wet all the time and there were frequent power outages. The food was average while the rates mimicking that of a 5 star hotel menu . Overall unsatisfactory experience. You can definitely find better options nearby.

I strongly suggest not to go to this place. No safety standards for rooms. Services mentioned on the website are available except food. No power No power backup No gyser Rooms are not at all neat. Full of dust Reaching to the resort is very big task. Snakes can easily enter the room from the ceiling.

My review for this place is in 3 portions:||Travel to this place: strictly follow the guidelines mentioned by the resort team. Do not expect a great drive from Lonavala to this place. Some of the patches are so bad that you may curse urself why the hell u came here. Some of the patches are very narrow and feels like there is no road ahead. Generally there is not much of traffic on the narrow roads so it's quite peaceful to drive/ride.||Location of this place: The resort is located at the end of the entire road stretch. Post the last village there is no proper roads. The location is the best place. On the one side there are lush green mountains and on the other end there is pawana lake. Its very quite and peaceful location. You feel very relaxed here.|||The Resort: The resorts are like permanent tents. You get a cozy bed and good homely cooked food. The hygiene levels are little poor so I will not recommend the place to people who are hygiene concious. The bed linens and towels given to us were good but the tents internal fabric was dirty. As we stayed only for a night it didnt matter to us much. The bathroom area is quite compact and small.||Conclusion: recommend here to go for a location and serenity. Do not expect much when u stay in a tent(permanent/temporary).|

We booked 2 tents through make my trip the photos post on that site and the actual condition of that tents are totally different the tents where extremely worst conditions. The mattress are totally wet cause of leakage each n everything thing was wet pillow, curtains carpet no one can stand there for 10-15 mins and the owner was saying you can stay here you just need to compromise some thing even though the owner and manager are very rude and arrogant. The overall experience was worst. As per my opinion the owner needs to closed that property for staycation.

Our stay at the Pavana Valley Resort was an excellent break from Mumbai city chaos. We stayed in an air conditioned tent #20 and the views were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service. The menu has a great variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting. Along with their typical menu, they can even arrange a barbeque and campfire for you! You can also expect a beautiful open space in the vicinity. The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. This affordable and comfortable resort ensures that you live amid nature in an up-close and personal way. A wonderful mini-vacation!

The place is terrible and hotel staff is arrogant. There is no electricity and food is horrible. The road to the place is very bad. The tents have holes in it, it has leakage every where. The staff doesn't provide proper food. The is no clean water any where. Toilets are not clean and there is no maintenance. Worst place for any one not recommend at all.

Very dirty. Bed linen sofas tent all filthy. Location is right up a mountain with nothing around. Staff not at all trained. Not running hot water. They will provide in a bucket. Don't follow google maps directions it will lead u up a trekking path. Call the hotel they will give different directions. Booking through oyo was messed up and we were asked to pay 1000 extra at the property. Food was average but menu was very restricted barely 10 items. Worst experience ever.

The road leading to this place is not the most easiest to get through. You must have an SUV or hire one. New concrete road under construction though. Once you get here it is nice. The tents are clean, in the afternoon it can get a little hot especially in the peak summer but the breeze compensates for it. The sliding rocker outside every room is so soothing and relaxing. The service from the staff here is excellent. The food is really very good and goes far beyond expectations. Manish, the manager and Eashwar, the cook are the heroes of this place. The rest is how you want to enjoy the place. Just relax or party. Must visit once.
