StayVista at Woodstone Villa | Luxury Villa with Private Pool in Lonavala

We had a wonderful stay experience at Woodstone Villa at Lonavala especially because of excellent services by caretakers Kailashji and his wife Sharda. They were always available to serve you with a smile and humbleness. The location of the villa is very serene, peaceful and quiet to enjoy with your family and close friends. The villa, the garden, the swimming pool is awesome, well maintained, hygienic, very clean and gives a homely feeling, out of your own home. Will definitely visit again!!!!

First experience at Stayvista and I regret it now. This is particularly for the Villa - Woodstone and I'd like to share my experience as despite multiple calls to the Stayvista team to express my feedback - They have just ignored! Hence this is to prevent others from experiencing similar distress. Below feedback is my personal experience and a brutally honest feedback! We booked the villa for the 29th - 31st December 2024 and below are the major concerns: 1. Plumbing Catastrophe: Two of the five rooms were plagued with non-functional flushes. Despite immediate complaints to the caretaker, Kailash, no action was taken until we escalated the issue to another staff member, Anil, the following day. This neglect forced us to endure unsanitary conditions overnight, which is utterly unacceptable. 2. Deceptive Meal Service: We paid for the Bucket 7 meal plan (Meal options to choose from), which promised an "on-site chef". Instead, we were deceived with subpar, "pre-packaged meals" delivered in containers. This bait-and-switch tactic not only ruined our dining experience but also felt like a blatant scam. They charge almost 2500 per person per day just fyi with below average food! Hence - Do not opt for meals instead go to villa and either Swiggy/Zomato or eat outside and save your hard earned money! Inadequate Pool Towel Provision: For a group of ten, we were initially provided only six pool towels. Upon raising the issue, the response was dismissive and insufficient, leaving some guests without towels. This lack of basic amenities is inexcusable. Also the chlorine levels were beyond normal and we all had our eyes paining. Upon raising the issue to Kailash - He said it's all normal and neglected the issue! Caretaker's Appalling Conduct: Kailash was not only unresponsive but also dishonest, providing false assurances about resolving the plumbing issues. His unprofessionalism and neglect significantly exacerbated our ordeal. I had my Nani with me where the disposals of her Adult Diapers were not done! Even upon raising the issue of asking the caretaker on why it was not cleaned - He said "Main Karta Hu" and left it and later did it! Something very basic which is not to be told. It felt like I was training him by telling what to do and what not! Really pathetic! This experience was nothing short of a nightmare, reflecting gross mismanagement and a complete disregard for guest comfort and hygiene. I strongly advise against booking with StayVista to avoid a similarly harrowing experience at least in this villa.

It is a very nice place to stay, the caretakers are very polite and helping...
