Ryewood Green Hotel

Good hospitality. Me and my husband were there for New Year's this December. It's a neatly kept, peaceful property and is quiet too, which is what we were looking for so that paid off for us even on the 31st. We were the only 2 people in the property and enjoyed the silence and peace. But on the 2nd day, what I appreciated is that we were upgraded by evening to a nearby property with better rooms since we were the only guests staying in the building. My husband and I both appreciated the gesture. So props to them for this effort. The only thing perhaps I would remove 1 star for is the fact that there was no one at the reception for any room service or quick help dur bg our stay, often there was no response when called at the reception. And that their guard who was the only person in the property on the 2nd day was also drunk when we returned back to our room by evening. I only wish they get this sorted for the next time and I would treat it as an exception considering that there was thoughtfulness extended too towards us. Besides this, one little part, the place is beautifully maintained with clean well lit rooms that have big windows. So I would suggest this to others too.

Property was very clean, beautiful and service was top notch. Even the breakfast spread was great. Definitely will recommend this hotel for your Lonavla stay.

Rooms are very spacious. Good & peaceful location if you have your own transport. The parking space is limited in the property. They do not have a pool , however we could go to the pool in a hotel which is 500mtrs away. Breakfast, lunch & dinner too not available at this property but can go to the same hotel down the road (this hotel down the road is very expensive for food)

Stayed over at Hotel Ryewood Green grom 18th Jul'11 to 20th Jul'11. Had a Business meet for 3 days. The property is located in interior. No vehicles are available nearby. You have to depend on the hotel staff for any vehicles. This is a slight drawback. Else there are many positives. The location is really peaceful. If you are the kind who like privacy... this is it. The hotel is a recently constructed one. Hence has good & clean rooms. The staff is also good in services. The best part is the joint has a good cook. Hence can expect tasty & fresh food. We enjoyed the food throughly. ||This property is again best for meetings, conferences & trainings. No distraction in and around. One other drawback is services are not available late night. Hence need to make your arrangements accordingly. All in all our entire team enjoyed the stay & specially the food. Keep it up....

It about 2-3 kms interior from the city centre, best if you have your own vehicle. Getting to this place is a bit difficult , We had to stop at the avion hotel at the centre of town & they sent someone with us to locate the place. its in a quiet locality. the rooms are ok, for that price.bathroom is kind of small. IF you want to eat here you will have to place the order much earlier. food was also good.not so bad a deal

Terrible hotel. The bedsheets and linens were dirty. No drinking water provided and they charged us 70rs per bottle. The geyser wasn't working as they ran out of gas. Yes, they use age old gas cyclinder geysers where continuously you get gas leakage smell which might even be risky. Tv was not working. For breakfast, you have to go to another hotel which is a km away as they don't have kitchen. The menu is overpriced and less quantity. For egg fried rice, they charged us rs. 290. Internet was not working. Staff is very rude. The bathroom tap and flush wasn't working. They didn't even come for cleaning. This was my second time stay here and last time also i had a bad experience but since it was during off season they had reasons. But this time, we went during peak season but it was worst of all. When we ordered for dinner, they served us food in newspaper saying there are no plates. Please don't visit this hotel if you don't want to waste your money. You have many good options in lonavala. They also have frequent power failures. They didn't even give us proper toiletries. Its over priced and super poor management.

But it was exactly the way it was shown in the website. Room were so specious and clean, top of it there were two bathroom as well. All staff were operative and breakfast was also quite good compared to hotel.
