Torna Tents Agro Tourism

Wonderful place in the nature's abode. We spend our 31st Dec (2022) here and enjoyed it very much. The tents are spacious and safe. Every tent is secured by a room-like structure having an iron door and safety from all sides. The washrooms were clean and had hot running water. Food quality was top notch with veg as well as non-veg options. Staff was very cooperative. They also arranged bonfire for us which was a very pleasant experience in the cold. One word of advice if you are visiting in winter: bring a lot of warm clothes. The place is near river, far from urban center hence gets absolutely cold. Strongly recommended to visit as the place is quite near from Pune. It hardly takes 1hr 30 mins to reach. Also the place is quite near to the main road. The last 600-800meters are a bit rough, but it's totally worth. There is ample parking space in Torna Tents.

First of all, this is a typical rural typical destination. All rooms are tents of different sizes and you are allotted one of them based on size of your group. If rooms are available, they give you liberty to choose room.||I have been there with my spouse over a weekend. we stayed there for 1D/1N. Tents are small which is okay. The WC and surrounding could have been better. Property is not very big if all the rooms are full. ||Food quality is very good, veg and non veg both. Its run by the owner and his family and he takes care of the guests well. Given the fact that he has lived in city of Pune for long time, the place could have been much better. ||Good for kids, they play area for kids and more interestingly a small pull of water where kids and even elders could enjoy. They have life supporting jackets also for kids and elders.||The best part we liked of the location was actually outside this property. There is a river "Kanandi" flowing at shouting distance from the property. In the month of April with a kind of summer, it was a flowing river. You could find place/rock on the bank of river to sit and spend lot of time with your loved one. Water is very clear and fresh and you see thru 2-3 feet into it. Its worth sitting there with your fits in shallow water. lot of small fishes gather to massage your fits in water. People pay lot of money for this in urban cities. It's worth going there for this experience.||This is a good calm place to spend time with peace of mind. ||Lastly, they have different packages like, 1D/1N, only day from morning to evening, only night etc. check them out what fits for you. good flexibility.

It is simple and clean place. The owner(Mr Patil) is very helping. They provide tents for accommodation with basic facilities.The property is nicely maintained. They provide maharashtrian food and it was good. There is a river near this place where one can enjoy dip in water. Breakfast served was also good ( Omelette, Poha and Misal)

I am frequent visitor here. The place is improving on it's standards day by day. Here I would like to mention that this is agro tourism, kind of farm house not a professional resort. So here food options are limited; food test is homely but the material like vegetables, rice, onion and tomato are farm fresh and locally grown! Tents are clean, western toilets but again as a farm house standard clean enough for hygiene but not shiny. You can insist housekeeping at the time of arrival. Having said all of above, you should visit this place to experience simple, peaceful and near to nature life. Food is simple and natural. Alongside river here is having water level till knees even in month of May. We enjoyed to barbeque outdoor and also slept open to sky on swings..! Out of the world experience you can get here. Rather than a resort or motel please have a different experience here; this place will not disappoint you in terms of natural experience.

I did not stay here but I went to check this out. It was shocking to see the property. ||The tents are made of canvas which is very nice but to make them look ugly the tents are covered with walls and roof! They have en-suite toilet which makes it even more in-hygenic, It is on a long strip of land and absolutely not appealing to visitors. It does have own parking. I cannot comment about food as I have not eaten or even stayed there.

As the name suggest, It is simple but clean place near Pune for outing with family & friends.||||Mr. Patil,Owner of the place extended good hospitality & service to us. The property is nicely maintained. They have tent for accommodation with standard facilities.||||Arrangement for barbecue & food served was good. This place in rains would be amazing to visit.

Quite comfortable stay. The washrooms are a bit tiny. Carry your toilet roll. Food is good, tents are decent. Nice for a day trip or an overnight stay. Good for kids too.

Very nice place to have fun with family. We went for a day trip with all age groups - 5 to 75 years, and all had great fun.||||Food was nice, very clean tents to relax.||||Clean and nature blessed place.||||River backwaters was nice.||||We were treated just as we treat our guests at home, with care, respect, and thoughtfulness.||||Lovely place, nice owner.||||Only thing is that they need to correct google maps location.||||A tip if you are going from Pune. Take the nasrapur road after paying the toll tax.||||Great place at very reasonable charges.
