Most friendly and helpful owner and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

Terrible Experience - Avoid Hemprabha Lodge at All Costs! My family, along with our relatives, stayed at Hemprabha Lodge in Ratnagiri for two nights (February 14-15), checking out on the morning of February 16. We booked three AC rooms and requested an extra mattress for an additional person, for which we were charged INR 300 per mattress. Our group included six senior citizens and two young children (aged 4 and 1). When booking, the owner seemed professional and assured us that the lodge maintained high standards of cleanliness. Since we were traveling with young children, I emphasized the importance of a hygienic stay. He encouraged me to check Google reviews, and based on his confidence and the photos he provided, I proceeded with the booking, paying INR 5,000 as an advance. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be one of the worst for the following reasons: Unclean Rooms & Bed Linen - The rooms were filthy, and the bedsheets were stained and covered with hair from previous occupants. They also had a foul smell, making it clear that they hadn't been properly washed. Poor Maintenance - While the rooms were newly built (about 1.5 years ago), they had not been maintained at all. The walls were covered in stains, which was especially off-putting in a place meant for rest. Since we had already paid, we had no choice but to endure it. Overpowering Fish Stench - The lodge is located near the Gadre Fish Factory, resulting in a terrible fish odor throughout the day. This crucial detail was neither disclosed to us nor mentioned on their website or in reviews. Stepping outside was unbearable due to the stench. Terrible Food Quality - The breakfast was so bad that we couldn't eat it. We only had it once and decided never to order from them again. Dust & Construction Around the Lodge - The surroundings are full of dust due to ongoing construction and road expansion. While some dust is expected, proper maintenance could have helped keep common areas clean. Unhelpful & Defensive Management - After complaining, the owner's wife visited and admitted, "I personally don't accept this standard," while scolding the staff (who were actually very polite). Instead of taking responsibility, she became defensive when we suggested improving cleanliness. Overpriced & Poor Tea & Breakfast - The tea was overpriced and tasted like sugar syrup. The cups were tiny, making it a complete rip-off. The poha was served in plates smaller than the size of my palm, yet they charged standard rates. Limited Hot Water Supply - Hot water was only available in the mornings, something they failed to inform us about in advance. Filthy Premises - The entire lodge was littered with plastic bottles and waste. The lack of basic cleanliness was shocking. Lack of Basic Amenities - There were no chairs in the rooms. We had to request plastic chairs, which were provided upon request. For the price they charge, at the very least, clean rooms and basic seating should be standard.They also did not give water and water was sold at the reception. We had request to serve the normal water as we are against using plastic or overall we try to minimise plastic use. Dirty Bathrooms - The bathrooms were so unclean that we had to call the cleaning lady before we could use them. Misleading Photos - The pictures shown online are outdated, possibly taken when the hotel was newly built. In reality, the place has high foot traffic and is poorly maintained. GST Bill Not Provided - When we asked for a GST bill, the receptionist flatly refused, which is a clear violation of regulations. Boards that says that on washing cloths fine of INR 500. What gives them this authority is unclear. Overall, this place is a complete scam. The owners are making money by deceiving guests with false advertising. If I could give a negative rating, I would, but since that's not an option, I'm forced to give it a 1-star review.

It's a very nice stay for all...... Station is on walking distance....... good hospitality. Rooms r available on advance booking.....clean and fresh environment ....must visit and experience the best services in very affordable rates..... Thank u..

I am really happy with the service I got at Hemprabha restaurant , specially about the food I was the only veg person in my group and the staff made special veg meals for me . The location is also very near to the railway station which is really great for travelling people. If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel to stay, dont miss out on choosing hemprabha restaurant.

Avoid Hemprabha Bed & Breakfast - Book at Your Own Risk! Our experience at Hemprabha Bed & Breakfast was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite making a prior booking and repeatedly confirming it, the hotel manager shamelessly denied us entry upon arrival. Adding insult to injury, he blatantly lied, claiming he had never spoken to us, despite us having a 5-minute call history with his number as proof. He even went as far as deleting his call history, pretending the conversation never happened--completely underestimating that we had our own records to back us up. The staff's response was equally dismal--unprofessional, immature, and entirely unfit to handle their responsibilities. This left us, a group of 10, stranded at 7 in the morning with nowhere to go. It was a humiliating and stressful ordeal that no guest should ever have to endure. We strongly advise against trusting this establishment with your travel plans. If you must book here, ensure you get everything in written confirmation and prepare yourself for potential chaos. There are plenty of reliable accommodations out there--Hemprabha Bed & Breakfast is not one of them. Book at your own risk!

Don't visit this location & particular hemprabha residency. Continuously odd smell is coming from fish factory. Recommended never visit to this palace. if you still want to visit , take AC room

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect--close to major attractions and restaurants. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of fresh and delicious options.
