METRO HOTEL

The hotel is located at a convenient location in the city. Valet parking service is available for free of cost. There are two levels of underground parking. The rooms were well maintained. The hotel staff was very much cooperative and available on call for any kind of service. Breakfast buffet menu included 3 to 4 varieties of food items. The taste and quality was good. The overall experience was good.

The service was extremely poor. We had asked for a blanket, and they couldn't provide it. What hotel doesn't have enough blankets to provide? A bad one. Even the toilet seat of our room broke and when the person to fix it came, he told that his 'duty' was over and he would send someone else. I mean, what kind of a response is that? If you work at the hotel, your main job to provide good service and in my eyes, they failed to do so.

Rooms are well maintained hygienic and clean Washrooms are clean As we both were females we stayed for 2 nights 2days over there we felt safe over and good experience Service is also very nice its all over a one call Staff is friendly and polite Also guided us in local things like travelling in Kolhapur and guiding for beat food etc I will always refer this Metro hotel to my other friends and family

Here's my detailed review: Location The hotel is located in a very convenient area, making it easy to access important spots in the city. Google map takes to a wrong entry if you are approaching from opposite end of the road to avoid a U-turn. - The rooms and property are well-maintained and clean, which adds to the comfort. - I accidentally booked a non-AC room, but even that was manageable thanks to the good ventilation and upkeep. - Room service was prompt and polite, ensuring a smooth stay. - Handwash was provided when we asked for it - The hotel offers underground parking, which is a great facility. However, you'll need to submit your car keys at the reception, which might be inconvenient for some. For the price I paid, this hotel is absolutely value for money. It's reasonably priced without compromising on quality. A highly recommended stay for anyone visiting Kolhapur. Great location, clean rooms, and excellent service at a pocket-friendly price.

I would have given this Hotel 0 stars if that would be an option to give. I am a Non-Maharashtrian and reside in Mumbai. For some personal reason, I came to Kolhapur for a day via Bus and that where I found out this Hotel details on Google Maps. The reason why I mentioned that I am a Non-Maharashtrian it is only because I was not speaking in Marathi hence, they thought that I am not a valued customer. Moreover, the prices that was shared with me over the recorded call was Rs. 3,9xx for a non AC room whereas it only costed Rs. 1,700 for the other person speaking Marathi at the counter. That is not enough! I checked in, in the morning around 09:30 and she gave me the room without informing that there would be more charges after 24 hours. The normal check out time was 12:00 noon at the hotel. In the morning, 08:30, I got a call stating that after 09:00, I would be charged extra Rs. 100 per hour and she had the audacity to state that she did not charge me any early check-in charge whereas clearly, the money I have spent in there says something completely different. All thanks to my wife handling the situation very well and not paying anything extra at the end. I would like to conclude this article by stating that this was clearly an attempt of fraud and worth mentioning that I or any of my friends or relatives, are not booking this place for sure.

I by mistake booked one day earlier, non refundable, owner was so generous to give me date change for free. Thank you so much. My husband says Kolhapurkars have big hearts, I really experienced that.

Good. Parking issue. But hotel Employee will park our vehicle safely.

Hotel Metro Kolhapur is a budget friendly accommodation to stay in Kolhapur. The property is nearer (around 1.5KM) to Kolhapur railway station. The staffs of the hotel were polite, friendly and helpful to guests.
