Hotel Surya Comforts

I just stayed for 1 day, The room was clean and well maintained. The dinner was tasty but they gave a complementary breakfast which is a substandard in comparison with dinner.

The hotel is good.They said they provide complimentary buffet breakfast . They are having veg and non veg restaurant. But They will bring two items from near by vegetarian hotel and provide us as breakfast.They gave us utappam, upma chutney, sambar, coffee, tea.Breakfast is good in taste .For drivers they can sleep on the terrace for that extra amount of 500/- they charge.

The stay was good, smooth checkin process. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Room was small but manageable. Complimentary breakfast in room was also there (maybe like poha or upma or idli) but we had to check out early so didn't had the time to check it out. The hotel was On the main road and easy to reach mahalaxmi temple via auto hardly takes 10 mins. Would love to stay here again.

No Parking! Your vehicle should be kept roadside if you book this hotel and dust will cover your vehicle in single night! Their menu for Breakfast in Room says something and they serve something tasteless!

Average hotel and but heart of city, room was very small hearly unable to move in room, food was average. There is no parking place at all we need to park car in front of hotel. No tooth paste available in room as well as tv as not working. Overall average hotel

I had an awful experience at Surya Hotel and would strongly recommend avoiding it. Here are the key issues I faced: Staff Shows Up Drunk The staff often comes to work after drinking alcohol. Their behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Rude Behavior The staff is disrespectful and rude to customers, which makes the stay very unpleasant. Used Blankets They provide used blankets to guests, which is extremely unhygienic and shows a lack of basic standards. Horrible Service The service is extremely poor. No one pays attention to guest needs, and complaints are ignored. Breakfast They bring breakfast from outside, from the roadside and tell the customers that they prepare it in their hotel itself. I do not recommend staying here, especially with family. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever experienced!

Nice location and easy to access since it is quite close to Kolhapur railway station. Rooms are good and clean with basic amenities. Staff is good and helpful. Since it is on main road, can be a bit noisy at times, but that's fine. Parking facility available on opposite side of the hotel. Overall good place to stay during visit to Kolhapur.
