Hotel Sham Suman Kolhapur

Hotel is not non functional at all, rooms were poor, washroom not having handles as well, negative vibes only. It's feel like you are living in broken building which can collapse any time. Poor room service Poor in hygiene

We stayed in this Hotel for a day. It was comfortable and clean. Staff members are very courteous,cooperative. .Room rent charged is very reasonable.Location is very near to the Mahalaxmi Temple North gate.

Very Near Ambabai Mandir Kolhapur this is the only one thing to be good. but the room and room service are not good. Car parking is a horrible experience, it's 2 steps down and continuous water coming from the ground.

It's just opposite to temple but the service is pathetic and the amenities in the room not working. Poor service and if we ask the Bel boy he said it will not work. Not worth to stay with family. Window doesn't have grills, it's dangerous for children.

One of the decent hotels with close proximity to the Mahalakshmi temple. They have a basement parking facility but was under repairs and seemed non functional.

It's very near the mahalaxmi temple....the hotel is currently undergoing re construction....so rooms are ok. ...but charging <4k per night for the room felt pricey...

Although the hotel's location is appealing, the overall condition of the establishment left much to be desired. Upon arrival, it was evident that the furniture and washbasins were in a state of disrepair, and the walls were covered in unsightly fungus. The bed was uncomfortable and appeared to be in a deteriorating condition, reminiscent of a construction site rather than a place of rest. Additionally, the service team lacked basic manners and communication skills expected in the hospitality industry. When we attempted to extend our stay, we were met with rudeness and were directed to book online or pay inflated rates. Upon escalating the issue to the manager, we were accused of attempting to manipulate the situation for a free room, which was utterly unprofessional. After much negotiation, the manager reluctantly agreed to honor our initial booking rate. Furthermore, the hotel's website was misleading, boasting amenities that were either non-existent or grossly misrepresented. As a seasoned traveler with experience in various accommodations, I strongly advise against booking at this establishment. It is evident that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, and guests are at risk of being deceived by their deceptive advertising tactics. Save yourself the disappointment and avoid being exploited by their false promises.

Shabby & damp rooms, linens, bedsheets, towels had strange smell. Water and towels were provided after asking, napkins not provided. Only plus point is close proximity to the temple.
