Pros: The location provides a refreshing one-day stay amidst plenty of trees, ensuring clean air and a pleasant ambiance close to Kolhapur, ideal for a fun overnight family experience. The owner was attentive and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. Cons: It should be noted that the rooms require refurbishing, as the beds were small and the mattress quality could be improved. While the service was efficient, the food was priced higher than the taste justified. Additionally, the swimming pool requires better maintenance and cleaning.

A Perfect Getaway Near Nature....that too Pet friendly!!! In the first week of May 2025, we had the pleasure of staying at Heritage Resorts, Kagal, ahead of Kolhapur, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful surroundings and lush greenery set the tone for a relaxing stay. The resort is beautifully nestled away from the city's hustle, making it an ideal spot for a quiet retreat. Despite the harsh heat of May, the morning (upto 10:30 AM) and evening (post 4:00 PM) weather is peaceful and refreshing. The resort is surrounded by lush green sugarcane fields and this greenery enables cool environment. We never felt the scorching heat during our entire 4N5D stay. The cottages are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, each with its own private porch where we enjoyed our morning tea surrounded by nature. The staff was very courteous and always ready to help, ensuring that our needs were met with a smile. Resort is managed by family, especially female members (Ms. Sangeeta and another lady...sorry am unable to recollect her name) and they ensure your requirements are meticulously fulfilled. One of the highlights was the food--authentic, flavorful, and freshly prepared. We loved all the dishes, food was yummy. Only thing is you need to maintain breakfast, lunch, dinner timings. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, perfect for a refreshing dip in the afternoon. What also stood out was how pet-friendly the resort is. Our Tommy was not only welcomed but also pampered with plenty of space to play and explore. Overall, Heritage Resorts offers a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and warm hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break with family, friends, or even solo.

Good Resort At very Nice location but need a renovation to all rooms. Rooms are not that worth what they charge. Food is very delicious.. The dinning area is very beautiful specifically in Evening time. All veg and non veg food is very tasty. Service is very slow. Need to improve. Overall Good Place for family.

Perfect place for family gatherings and birthday parties. There is a nice lawn for kids to play. A clean swimming pool. Perfect location to chill as it is at a distance from the city. Peaceful atmosphere. I planned my kid's birthday and there were guests coming in from Gujarat. Guests enjoyed staying at this place with chiku farms. Cottages were nice. The food was awesome. We had veg lunch and it was amazing with so many options to decide. A memory to cherish for the lifetime. Wonderful arrangements by the owner and staff.

Excellent place to relax in natural atmosphere. Hospitality, food, service, cleanliness is exceptionally good. Manager is available from. 6 am to 11 pm. Totally different experience compared to other resorts. It is truly home away from home. Would like to specially mention about mutton dry fry dish.Very tasty and mouth watering. Would like to visit again. Recommended for rejuvenate with family and friends.

A place where you can stay away from the hustles and witness the serene nature around you. Perfect for those who are enroute Goa/Karnataka as it is near the highway. A pet-friendly resort in every sense. Your pet can play in the lawn and they also provided food for my pug. The food is tasty and affordable. The service is quick, staff is humble. I'm glad we discovered this place.

Perfect stop over for a pune Goa road trip, of ur taking Amboli Very good service; safe and run by a very nice family; perfect for solo women too; location is ideal, 2 mins off the highway and almost exactly mid journey; lovely laterite cottages; basic but clean and private. Very quiet place full of Chikoo and mango trees surrounded by fields. Run by women so very safe and family friendly too. Very 80s style place; and menu the food and service are both excellent, pleasant surprise and lovely find! Rooms have kettles; AC and fridge

Heritage Resort in Kagal near Kolhapur is a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The place is very beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are very clean. The property is pet friendly. The trees and greenery around is very refreshing. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and will help you out with anything. Situated at just half an hour drive away from Kolhpaur city and Mahalakshmi temple, this place is perfect for those looking to tour the city. Also, the food offered by them is very delicious. The prices are budget friendly with variety of options in Indian and Indo-Chinese food. We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway near Kolhapur.
