The location was so peaceful in the midst of the woods. The swimming pool was well kept and the water was clean. The cleanliness and the level of hygiene of the property was commendable. AWESOME!!! This is the one word which sums up my experience at Mountain Woods Farm Stay. I had visited the place with family and a group of friends and it was a really relaxing and at the same time energizing experience. Relaxing due to the beautiful green surroundings, quiet mornings in the company of the chirping birds and very spacious rooms to stay. Energizing because of the wonderful and warm service, tasty pure vegetarian food with lots of variety for kids and lot of activities which could be done with friends and family. The place livens up as the sun sets. Light music near the pool makes you forget all the stress. The evenings on the Machan makes it a great feeling. I strongly recommend this place for group stays for friends as well as family outings as it is complete value for money experience. The Pure Veg food is a real delight and all the items were a real treat for all of us.

I - alongwith my family - recently visited this nice little resort going by the name 'Mountain Woods Farmstay' near Khopoli. It was a very well spent 2 days. We could not have asked for more. Here is my attempt to summarize the reasons : 1) Excellent location : Very accessible. Just a hour and a half's drive from Mumbai. Connected and at the same time isolated. Very Serene. Very relaxing. 2) Beautiful set up : Very well designed place. Ample of space for parking. For indoor games. For outdoor games. For just lazing around. And also with a good sized pool to boot. 3) Very nice rooms : Clean and Hygenic, Big and Comfortable, Well lit with beautiful pool facing verandah/balcony 4) Delicious food : Finger licking tasty vegetarian food with a comfortably varying menu covering all meals 5) Amazing Hospitality : The deal clincher for us. Such welcoming hosts. Such a friendly and humble staff. Behaving true to the Indian tradition of ' Atithi Devo Bhava'. Honestly, the above points, fall short of describing the actual experience. It cannot be completely described. One needs to experience it. As the famous tagline of a yesteryear advertisement for Brooke Bond Red label tea said " Piyo to Jaano".
