The only positive aspect of this resort is its convenient location near the beach. However, there are several downsides. The owner imposes many restrictions, including limitations on playing music, which affects the overall experience. The owner's behavior can come off as rude, although the staff is generally polite. There's only one cook in the kitchen, so food orders take around 45-50 minutes to be served. Additionally, the water quality is quite poor and saline -- not suitable even for washing your face.

Pros: The food is delicious, and the rooms are well-maintained. The resort is very close to Kelve Beach, making it a convenient stay. Cons: The pool is accessible only from 6 PM to 9 PM, which is quite restrictive. Alcohol is not allowed near the pool. There is only one pool, which can be inconvenient if the resort is crowded. The manager constantly roams around and observes guests, making it feel restrictive--similar to being watched by a teacher. This affects the overall enjoyment. The farmhouse is quite small. If you're only looking for a place to sleep, it might be fine, but otherwise, it's not worth it. The resort is expensive at 2,000 per person. The food quantity is limited. We had fish, a nd they specifically mentioned that each person would get only six prawns and two Bangda fish. However, Bhakri and gravy were unlimited. Only chai and biscuits in snacks.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Service I recently had the misfortune of staying at [D Samudra kelva] and was thoroughly unimpressed with the service. The staff seemed completely uninterested in ensuring our stay was comfortable or enjoyable. Pros. 1.food is good and reasonable 2.room was neat and clean 3.pool view and sea view Issues 1. Check-in was slow and inefficient. 2. Staff members were rude and dismissive when we brought issues to their attention but they vr argueing with us 3.this like staying in miltary camp check out time is at 10 am. hotel staff knocks your door at 8 am and wakes you up. 4.we vr facing power cut at night. 5. brk fast was inculding with room while check in. Nxt day told us it is chargable And denined brk fast. *Mangement&owner Plz make sure the guest staying at your resort shuld be comfortable, we feeling vry un-comfortable by staff behaviour... You have good property and good loaction Hotel industry is service industry. Thnx

Great ambience if you are looking for something peaceful. The sound of the waves, trees and birds are music! Clean rooms, great staff, and food quality is amazing! Access to the beach allows for impromptu walks and runs. And very cost effective too.

Lovely resort, Delicious food , calm atmosphere. We spent really great time ....one of our memorable place & time. I just loved the cottage. Staff is very good. The way they took efforts to make our candle light dinner Perfect I loved these thing a lot.

We had visited D Samudraa Resort on 31st Jan with family .the location was great, the private access is very comfortable to go in beach. The food was great, the fish was fresh, delicious. The location was decent. must visit once

Very much disappointing unsatisfied experience. - The owner/Manager Alpesh Panchal is very rude . - There are many hidden charges & cost is very high. Example- 1 plate poha is at RS 90 1 cup of tea is at Rs 50 - Staff is untrained, nonprofessional and not cooperative - Food is good but they literally serve only limited and little quantity - Washroom's commode covers are broken, door handles are not working properly (even for one of our booked room there's no handle lock to washroom door) - Pool is not cleaned - Do not order extra food from their kitchen they charge more and give less -Staff there is really not trained whatever you request, they're not aware of anything, they always go to the owner to ask and inform you back very late. Also takes more time to clean the room. -Food inside is good but when you demand for extra they hesitate to provide it specially nonveg items, for one meal there was prawns curry we literally got only two prawns pieces and only gravy -They only offer tea in the evening and no snacks. We orders 2 kanda bhajji plates it's too much costly per plate charge was 90 rs which is very high and we only got 7 small pieces of bhajji.

Recently I stayed at this place. Overall experience was not bad, but I had following concerns. 1. Charges- 4000 Rs. for room with no 24*7 hot water facility even during winter season! 2. Outside food was not allowed, hence I had to order dinner from their kitchen which was very costly. Taking 20 Rs. For one tissue paper like chapati is not at all justified. And please taste the food before serving. The dal khichdi was very salty and seemed like you had just mashed daal & rice together. If the guest is paying so much, please provide authentic meal. 3. While I was walking after dinner with my child, one of their staff warned me to be aware of SNAKES! If you are charging such a huge amount just to stay in your property, then kindly utilise the money to do some reptile control services inside your premises! Please do something about it.
