Backwater Cabins

It's a super destination for all seasons... Even in summer , the evenings are very pleasant The food served is local & very tasty. Specially fresh green leaves vegetables are extremely yummy... Service is prompt & humble New menu is quiet good & having good variety.... Must visit with friends & families...

We had a great time here, far away from the city's hustle and bustle and too close to nature. Beautiful location, warm hospitality, and satisfying delicious food were the cherry on the cake. Though a little remote location but worth visiting for my time or family time. Suggest arranging your engagement activities or board games with your family to spend time together. You won't find anything like a village or a market nearby as it is forest reserve area.

Oh My God! More I say the less it will be The drive through 2500 windmills over to the top of the mountain and landing this Place surrounded by mountains and forests be like heaven Backwaters Cabin is an amazing place to visit during any season of the year I mean we visited during summer and the temperature there throughout the day was just too right to roam around and evenings were cold, we will be visiting soon again to enjoy rains the place is just going to get even better during monsoons Food is delicious and awesome, loved the starters and non veg delicacies.Thank you so much for arranging birthday party event , we enjoyed it. Thank you for suggesting and making arrangements to visit the Dategad fort and Dhareshwar temple, it was so relaxing. The staff is very helpful and courteous With swimming pool coming in we are sure the kids are going to enjoy alot ! Kudos to the team for making this a memorable outing for our big fat family

The rooms are of two type , cottages and cabin style . We stayed in the cottage and was neat and clean . The cabins were under renovation but once ready have the best view on the property The food is homely and definitely above average. Though the options may be limited . Location is the USP at backwater cabins , the view of the reservoir from the cliff is unique and Sunsets from here are stunning . The ride up to the resort is also picturesque through wind mill farms

The location is awesome if you like a peaceful and calmness. You can see wonderful view of koyana backwater. The service person is very polite and supporting. He served us timely and perfect. The rooms are of two types. One is built properly having spacious bedroom and bathroom but cost you more. Another type was a container. The room are like labour room which are provided for temporary site work. The cost asked for that was even more. It's not that worth to pay for the container room. Location, service is good but the rooms are very expensive as compared with the ambience.

Ultimate place to visit in any season. Newly renovated rooms are extremely comfirtable .. also gives more closeness to nature... food variety is improved & now having good tasty & quality food available. Must visit.

Rustic, raw and rugged. Yet, amenities like 24/7 hotwater thanks to the geyser, 24/7 electricity power supply, clean and tidy rooms. That's how I would describe the cabins that I stayed in. And for the star of the show, the location, the view, the service of the caretaker. Let me elaborate...... This is in the midst of a Tiger Reserve, overlooking the Koyna river. You might not see them, but they probably can sense you....Leopards, Tigers and the spirits of the forest ;) The view here is unmatched. Tranquil and Serene, yet isolated and desolate. Perfect solitary winter eve for a solo biker like me to unwind. Food prepared here was tasty and delicious. Communication with the owner through Booking.com was smooth. Lastly, the caretaker Roshan was extremely helpful, polite and everready to tend to your needs be it food, tea, checking up from time to time. The real star of the place! This place is beautiful. I feel lucky to have been here!
