In Summers will rate it 3 of 5, but could maybe touch 5 during Monsoons! We chose probably not the best time to be in Karjat - unusual heat during March month itself :-( This meant the farmstay struggled to provide uninterrupted AC cooling in all rooms during the peak noon time when voltage fluctuations were common. Though from 2-6pm the genset swung into action and ACs worked lot better. The farmstay owner resides in the farm itself, so does try from his side to make his guests comfortable. However, he appeared to be really understaffed :-( As a result, the owner and his Man-Friday were running around for every small and big maintenance/upkeep issues. Not every guest would be as understanding to hear the owner's limitations/experiences and overlook the inconveniences in a holiday well paid for. Take for example smart-less TVs with deactive DTH/TataSky account. Though owner offered his Jio credentials to download & watch Jio TV App on your own mobiles! Thankfully the summer heat or staff crunch did not appear to have much bearing on the farmstay food! We had some excellent meals during our stay, especially cooked/supervised by the owner himself! Always served with a smile! The farmstay cottages were spacious and well designed, however the need for more attention and upkeep was apparent everywhere in the farm. This is more palpable if you recce a few farmstays around this area which are definitely much better maintained and offer similar priced all-meals inclusive packages. To sum it up - avoid Karjat during summer heat, but do trust this farmstay owner and his Team for a fantastic monsoon holiday. Wishing All the Best to The WheySide!

The owner of the property is a true gentleman. The location and the property are beautiful. The food served is home cooked and outstanding . Had a beautiful time at the whey side. Looking forward to go there again. Highly recommended

This property soothes your soul.The tranquility is mesmerizing to say the least.Designed and protected with utmost care by Venkat sir.One of my best staycation so far.Venkat sir is a MasterChef so kindly let him work his magic with the food and keep your food preferences aside for a bit. Pet friendly, but v delayed service. Breakfast/lunch/dinner all served v late, after many reminders. Always same Excuse; staff on leave Ac/hot water not upto d mark

Overall a very unclean and pathetic resort. The swimming pool has not been cleaned since 1947.... The dining area is awful.. If you want a unpleasant experience please book here... I cancelled my stay upon reaching the site and as usual the owner didnt return my booking amount..horrible experience

I recently spent a wonderful day at this farm stay. The simplicity and authenticity of this place are its greatest strengths. The food is homemade and hearty, served with love and care. Yes, power cuts did occur during my stay, but they quickly back it up with a generator. Also, we're in the midst of nature, far from the city's grid. It's a small price to pay for the tranquility and beauty that surrounds us. I appreciate the genuine hospitality and warmth offered by the host Mr. Venkat Subramaniam, I had a very good time chatting with him. This farm stay is a unique gem, and I hope future visitors will approach it with an open heart and mind, rather than judging them by urban standards.

To start off, Venkat is the perfect person to run this place. His respectful attitude towards the location and everything else around are commendable. Once you're here, you're welcomed by Pandit the Indie, a loyal and wonderful stray! Then you get to your cottage, made entirely of wood, maintained immaculately. They are wonderful and have been planned to soothe any visitors senses from entry to the washroom and also the awesome balcony. The meals as well as the service are awesome. Experience is above par overall. Only issue could be some people who visit the place and not understand Venkat's idea of the place - I pity those people's "iq" and intellect.
