Modi's Resort-Karjat

Very very nice and calm place for a perfect getaway. The staff are very cordial and responsive. I went for a family stay with my parents, brother in-law, sister and nephew. I highly recommend this place. Good food and a calm ambience makes it a great choice. The pool needs a bit of upkeep I felt as the water was murky. The internet was a bit slow but it's fine as we hardly used it. Overall a great place to stay with family.

From the moment you arrive from the highway, you're enveloped in warmth and kindness. The entrance is simply enchanting, adorned with colorful flowers, trees, and plants that create an inviting atmosphere, instantly making you feel at home. The staff members are truly remarkable; they have a special way of making you feel like you've been a part of their family for ages, even if it's your first visit. Their genuine hospitality is heartwarming. We had a wonderful 3 day stay, and the vegetarian food was absolutely delightful just like homemade. The nature trail is a fantastic touch, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty around you. The rooms have a charming quality and are impeccably maintained. A special mention goes to Sheetal at the front desk, who went out of her way to help me drape my saree for a special occasion I was attending in Karjat. Her kindness made all the difference. Overall, our experience was truly beautiful, and it was the compassionate and welcoming staff that made it so memorable.

Had an amazing , relaxing time at Dr. Modi Resort, Karjat. Highly recommend this place if u r a nature lover & looking for a peaceful relaxing time. This is our 2nd visit. Just the right kind of basic & good room's, the food is so right - simple, healthy, homely & they were very kind to cater to my dietary preferences. Special Thanks to Sushant who took great care of this. Thanks to Rachana & Amar for their hospitality throughout our stay. Our guests we had brought along, visiting from inter-state, were very pleased.

I visited modi resorts with my family for my parents anniversary. The rooms were very clean, the property was very clean and huge, the activities and amenities are too good. The resort gave a vintage vibe and it's the best resort for families and friends. The staff is pretty helpful and sweet. The food is the best as senior citizen can also enjoy the pure veg food. They take good care of the quality of food and their services. I would highly recommend this place. Gonna visit very soon!

We, a group of around 15 friends had stayed at Modi's Resort for a night. The Resort is quite big and has a lot of open spaces with lush green cover and provides spaces for outdoor games like cricket, badminton etc. The swimming pool is quite big with a covered deck area. ||The rooms in individual cottages, though a little dated are quite spacious and clean & provide all the basic amenities. The service provided by all the staff right from the Front desk to the Housekeeping and Restaurant area were excellent. The USP of the Resort is the food they serve....absolutely top notch. All the dishes we were served right from the Lunch, Hi tea and Dinner on Day one and the Breakfast on Day two was absolutory lip smacking and we enjoyed it thoroughly. ||Over all, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Resort.

I definitely recommend this place for any age group of people to come and stay in the natural environment. Good place to bond with friends and family, relax or whine down from the busy city life. All the staff in the resort are friendly and warm. The food is very good and healthy and they cater to your diet requirement. I will definetly come back as it is only 2 hrs from Mumbai.

We stayed at Modi's Resort from 12th to 14th April'25 for 2 nights with our 12 months old baby. Overall experience was average & not worth the money. Would not recommend to anyone & also It is NOT an infant/toddler friendly resort for sure. 1. Property - The property is vast & atmosphere here is calm & peaceful. However there could be more trees planted alongside the inside road as there is hardly any shade. There is a lawn where one can take a peaceful walk. 2. Rooms - Rooms are basic but clean. Bathroom is small & has bathtub. The Rooms have 2 single beds combined & they are little uneven. If u r travelling with a baby who co-sleeps, these beds are inconvenient. They give u extra matress on floor if required. In our room, all of a sudden, the window curtain fell down with rod. Toilet jet spray was leaking. Mosquito repellent was not working. Dental kit was provided only on request. There was no intercom in the room. Although the management was responsive to the concerns, the rooms need better maintenance. 3. Food - Food is pure vegetarian & tastes good. However they have fixed buffet for breakfast, lunch, High Tea & Dinner. No ala-a-carte is available. Also, you cannot order outside food from Swiggy or Zomato. 4. Amenities - Good indoor games room & Books library. They have bicycles, trycycles to ride on inside the property. 5. Swimming Pool - Swimming Pool is big enough but water was not very clean. Also the pool needs maintenance. No separately kids pool. 6. Children's play area - Good small sand play area for kids. They have swings, slides etc. However there is not a single tree around play area. So kids can play there only early mornings or evening. 7. Baby Food - At the first night they provided us 180ml baby milk as per our request. However on the 2nd night when we asked for baby milk they told us that it would be chargeable & that too Rs.100 for 180ml of milk for baby. & It was the same cow milk they were using in their kitchen. It was very surprising!!! We then somehow managed the milk for baby ourselves. We have been to multiple places with our baby from small homestays to five star property but nowhere we have seen baby milk being charged & that too at such an exorbitant price. It clearly shows how much money- minded the resort management is. Not worth visiting again & also not recommendable.
