Birdsong Farm/ Home Stay

This is a home away from home. The home is perfectly located in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees, birds chirping all day long. And most importantly people who bring life to this place. The hospitality, food, learning from Desai ji & his staff about Konkan, its local culture has been a great experience. Earlier my spouse stayed here for 10 days, this time I stayed for 5 days along with my mother & nephews. We intend to come back during rainy season. Highly recommended. And ensure you have at least 2 nights to experience the place. Many beaches & forests are just an hours drive from here.

Simply Awesome. We booked for 2 nights and wanted to stay 1 more night. Desai Kaka as a host is so good. He makes you feel comfortable and welcomed in your house. Right from room decor, food (Its a treat) every thing is top notch. The best part is flora and fauna cultivated in the farm. It gives the feel of dense forest. Even in April heat it was very comfortable stay. Never felt hot. It's a must visit if you wish to experience the nature at its best.

We had a memorable stay at Birdsong. Our host, Sunil Desai, was warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about serving his guests. The food was delicious and healthy, with around 70% of the ingredients sourced directly from the farm. Sucheta vahini she cooks from the heart and you can feel the love and care she pours in the food. We had an amazing experience, and we're sure you'll love the hospitality too!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Nature - Perfect Getaway! I recently stayed at Birdsong Farmstay in Kankavli, and it was one of the most refreshing and soul-soothing experiences I've had in a long time. The property is tucked away amidst lush greenery, with the sounds of birds greeting you every morning--true to its name! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, thoughtfully done, and maintained the perfect balance between comfort and rustic charm. The food was authentic Malvani cuisine, home-cooked with love--every meal was a highlight! What I loved most was the connection to nature. We took early morning walks through the farm, relaxed in hammocks under the trees, and even tried our hand at picking fruits. The peace and quiet here are priceless. It's also a great base for short trips to nearby beaches and waterfalls, though honestly, we were just as happy staying put and soaking in the calm. A place which is very calm, beautiful & a must visit place at least once a year. You will hear only melodious voices of different birds and can see them nearby. A place, which helps you to forget your daily busiest lifestyle & make up your mind refresh. Their absolute delicious food and its serving style is unimaginable.
