Hotel Park Tree

- Fair sized rooms with comfortable beds with firm mattresses - Service i prompt, staff is friendly - Location is super convenient, if you are breaking your journey - it is cheek-by-jowl with NH 48 (north bound, you need to cross over if you are headed south). There are two buildings - the hotel and the restaurant, with ample parking available - Cheaper if booked directly (I paid Rs.3,326 when booked through one of the hotel booking sites, as against Rs.2,500 when I booked directly - a 33% difference) - The restaurant within the premises is also very good. Food is served without a long wait, serving sizes are pretty decent and are enough for two people. Food quality and taste are great. The decor of the restaurant is also very modern, brightly lit, with friendly and attentive staff - The guard offered to wash our car which we agreed to. As a result, when we were ready to leave the next day, the car's exterior was spanking clean - Though it is located practically on the highway, the windows ensured that no traffic noise came through - The hotel was mostly empty, both times we stayed (within a span of 1 week, once when southbound and once when northbound) Scope for some improvement: - Towels were pretty threadbare - Tea / coffee material were kept on a tray, which is fine, except that the tea bags did not have any cover - a hygiene factor - Bottles of water provided are very small and we found it inadequate - The rooms are located entirely on the first floor (25 steps) and there is no lift. So, if one has difficulty in negotiating stairs, then caveat emptor

Had been for lunch around 2pm. Ordered mix veg , (carrots in that was not fresh at all) wheat roti was like rubber (non of the food was hot and fresh) very poor taste... Jeera rice was average , very slow service. Overall not good

Since I was on a business trip to Kolhapur, it is located at a convenient distance from the industrial areas. Food served in the restaurant is excellent! Rooms are very spacious & well maintained. Tarrif plan is reasonable. Overall, a very good experience!

Had lunch at the Mantra Restaurant. Yummy food and it was very apt for the hot climate/ season, considering we were travelling to Bombay. The mutton hundi was well cooked and delicious.

My stay was very bad. No water in the morning for one hour, and even after telling reception, it took another hour to fix. Hot water problem also. No basic things like dental kit and tissue paper, only one small Medimix soap. Breakfast had very few items, only South Indian food. I will not stay again and don't recommend.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Hotel Park Tree. the staff was accommodating, and the amenities were great. The rooms are spacious, beautiful & clean, They also offer complimentary Breakfast Worth the money.

We had a very good experience at the Hotel, the room and washroom was clean and well maintained. Service by the hotel staff was commendable. The food was good as well. And it's on the highway making it easier for travellers to pitstop and leave. Overall a very good hotel!
