Hotel Girija

Visited Hotel Girija for overnight stay on 05-06 May 2025 night. The hotel complex is located on the road going from Junnar to Lenyadri, where the Ashtvinayak Ganpati Temple, also called 'Girijatmaj Temple' is located. In addition to a restaurant, next to this property is an adventure park having zipline, shooting area and zipcycling in addition to a children's park with swings etc. Also, there is a Banquet Complex having facilities to host three banquets simultaneously. A cowshed, chicken coop and ducks shelter also exists in the complex. The property is owned and run by Mukund and Kaustubh Rakshe, who are father and son. Kaustabh is a graduate of Hotel Management with specialisation as a chocolatier and baker. He also has experience in working in some 4/5 Star hotels. The rooms are well equipped with most of the amenities. Hygiene and sanitation is upto mark. The food in the restaurant is well made, delicious and well served but are mostly authentic maharashtrian preparations and some south indian preparations. Areas where there is discomfort are erratic water pressure in the bathrooms and erratic electric supply compensated by on site gen sets, but these are govt related even though the management is attempting their best to mitigate these issues. Suggested improvements are to set up a swimming pool / water park and guided tours etc so as to tap into the tremendous tourism potential of the area. The stay, the environment, the activities, the hospitality and the overall experience at the property was excellent. The personal involvement and dedication of the owner, especially Kaustubh Rakshe, was admirable. Overall, a value for money preposition. Well done and keep up the good work, Hotel Girija Complex !!

This is my second stay here and the good thing about this hotel is location nearby lenyadri temple. During previous stay, people were picking up food with the same hands with which they were eating and none of the staff here objected to it. During stay this time , fan wasn't working for a while and no hot water is available on time they mentioned. The guy here said that hot water flow will start after 2-3 buckets of cold water but hot water started after at least 6 cold buckets of water. TV also not working, although it's not important considering we are mainly here for rest before or after darshan.

Best place to visit any time any season with your family, friends and food is amazing especially the masswadi. You must visit the place.

Less than 1 Km from Lenyadri Ganpati Awesome lunch thali. Delicious and unlimited quantity....... Superb service. Very nice host Vangyachi bhaji was superb HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AFTER DARSHAN...

Visited as a part of group tour. Very close to Lenyadri Ganpati Temple. Good food. Overall a pleasant experience.

The food is good . Do try their Brinjal masala ( bharleli Vanga) and Maas wadi with bhakri. The rooms here are good but do have scope of improvement in terms of making it bug free. We visited during rainy season and we felt the rooms were a bit damp and one room that was provided earlier had too many rainy season insects so much so that we had to change the room. The bunk bed room is good. They have beautiful greenery surrounding the property. They also provide wedding venues with ample rooms.

Rooms are poor. Too costly for the kind of rooms they have. Location is good..at the foothills of Lord Lenyadri, 13 km from Ozar and 7 km from Shivneri Fort

Rooms were clean but bed spreads were not clean , No hot water , staff is rude , rooms were stinking . They have ample space but need to keep efficient staff.
