Hotel Almond

I recently stayed at Hotel Almond, and while the hotel's outer appearance and reception area create a good first impression, the overall experience left much to be desired. The most disappointing aspect was the room service. There is no direct room service number--guests must call extension 9, which often goes unanswered. The in-room phone is noisy and unclear, making communication difficult. I often had to walk down to the reception to get basic requests fulfilled. Even then, service was extremely slow, and multiple reminders were needed for the simplest of things. This reflects a serious lack of attention and training in hospitality service. The front desk staff are present, but their response time is poor. It doesn't feel like they are equipped to handle guest needs promptly or efficiently. For a hotel charging premium prices (room rates around 2500+), the service standard is far below expectations. In my opinion, the pricing should be in the range of 1800-2000, given the facilities and experience offered. On a slightly positive note, the restaurant staff were courteous and attentive. The food was average--neither exceptional nor bad--but the crockery used was in poor condition and should be replaced immediately to maintain hygiene and presentation standards. In summary, Hotel Almond seems to rely heavily on its outer appearance and reception aesthetics to create an impression. However, a good hotel experience depends on responsive service, guest comfort, and consistent hospitality--areas where this hotel clearly falls short. Until significant improvements are made in customer service and operational efficiency, I would rate this hotel as average, or "so-so." It's not a place I would highly recommend, especially for the price being charged.

Hotel Almond: A Disappointing and Unprofessional Stay. I recently stayed at Hotel Almond for three nights and unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming. Room Condition: The room itself was in a state of disrepair. There was visible mold growth, raising serious concerns about hygiene. This created an unpleasant and potentially unhealthy environment. To make matters worse, the room was not cleaned during my stay. When I inquired about this, the staff offered the incredibly strange excuse that they could not enter the room because I had not provided my key card. This explanation was both illogical and unprofessional. There is no fresh air at all. The windows open to sealed glass shutters and spider webs Staff Professionalism: Throughout my stay, the staff exhibited a lack of professionalism. Their service was inconsistent and unhelpful, further diminishing my overall experience. Breakfast Availability: Breakfast, which was advertised as part of my booking, was rarely available. This was a major inconvenience and a clear breach of the agreed-upon services. Noise Levels: The hotel was consistently noisy, making it difficult to relax and enjoy a peaceful stay. Overall: Based on these issues, I cannot recommend Hotel Almond to other travelers. The combination of poor room conditions, unprofessional staff, unreliable breakfast service, and excessive noise created a truly disappointing and frustrating stay. My room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast was a highlight, offering excellent quality and service. The location is also perfect. Very disappointing and never recommend to any one at this price . NO VALUE FOR MONEY. 1) staff and reception - very rude guy at reception Name -NAVAL. Not polite and rude in speaking. 2) 3100 + room minimum charged , actually inshould be 1500-2000 ,accoriding to condition 3) breakfast not up to the mark . 4) no proper room service ,one or two staff handing everything , they don't reply you properly and won't get service if you expect . 1 star only .

I had stayed in many Hotels, all over India. But this hotel has given me very worst experience in Hospitality industry. Everyday they serve only Poha and idaly Sambhar in breakfast which is totally Tasteless, No other options are available. I had stayed for 4 days, they provided only 1 bottle of water. Next bottle is charged. Cost cutting is upto coffee & sugar pouch .TV is not working. Very worst service, totally wastage of Rs.3000 money, Don't come here. It's better to Go in a Lodge.

It was terrible but no respect from them didn't resolve any problems about AC was so hot understanding light goes but 2 days they kept ac n lift also closed saying it tripped n all Food was good only once was given stale chapti no phones working no room cleaning done was with my old parents n a child had to come several times down to give order if u wanna waste ur money then only book this place

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and is a budget property ||The rooms are neat and clean||The service is average and needs improvement ||Quality of food is good but the service is poor ||Staff are courteous and well behaved ||Overall an very average property

It is nice budget hotel . I attended Seminar at this Hotel on 13/12/2024 . Food was good. Hotelbis clean . Lobby has nice Ambience. I didn't stay at Hotel so doesn't know about rooms .
