Ellora Heritage Resort

I'd be glad to visit again and again whenever I visit Ellora. Beautiful and peaceful location surrounded by greenery and a nicely maintained garden for the guests. Whether you stay in cottages or family rooms both are equally comfortable and close enough to a centrally located restaurant. Neat clean rooms with adequate air conditioning and enough supply of mineral water, tea and coffee for good morning and laid back evening. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and they serve good food. If you keep little patience and behave well with the serving staff they serve you with love and smile.

I stayed here for a night. The place is very clean and green indeed. Staffs are courteous and kind. Services too is outstanding. Rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. This can be your only choice if planning to visit Ellora. Tourist destinations are at walking distance. Special shout to Mateen the front desk manager, he is really skilled in guest handling. He helped me navigate through the things to do since I was new here.

I loved this place. It's a true oasis in Ellora. The cottages have been decorated to a high standard, and are set amongst the lush greenery of banyan trees, night jasmine, swaying palms and brightly coloured hibiscus flowers. It's a beautiful place to unwind and relax after a hectic day at the Ellora Caves. Both the Caves and Grishneshwar Temple are walking distance (or a two minute rickshaw ride away). Daulatabad Fort is 15 minutes by taxi. The resort has its own restaurant, so you don't have to leave the grounds in search of food. Staff are friendly and helpful. You honestly won't find a better place to stay in Ellora

I stayed at Ellora Heritage Resort on 2nd and 3rd May 2025, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel does not offer value for money, and the service was very poor. Dinner service shuts at 9:00 PM, and the menu is extremely limited--most items were unavailable. There is no room service at all. The room refrigerator was not working, and despite calling multiple times, no one addressed the issue. The reception staff was unhelpful and appeared irritated when asked basic questions or guidance. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the hospitality and facilities. Would not recommend based on my experience.

Good resort with very good location exactly near to world famous ellora caves and Sri Grishneshwar jyotirlinga, with lots of space and lush green lawns We stayed in cottage , which needs proper maintenence. They use stainless steel crockery in their restaurant, which is not upto the standard of the property. But at last good property with finest location

Located exactly between Temple & Caves. ~500m to both places. Big spacious, clean rooms. Service was good. Standard Rooms & Cottages are available here. They provide space for party & functions too. Big lawn & big restaurant. Breakfast options were not too many, just sufficient. Food was good.

Please service your lift and take it seriously. During my one day stay got stuck in the lift twice and staff was not even apologetic about this thing. Horrible experience. They have mentioned a lot of things on their brochure but most of them are not available. When asked they told the resort is under repairs. Best thing about the property was its location that is all. However note that there is no cab service from resorts available immediately. You have to get your own vehicle or get your own driver. Even though it was a three star hotel, the rooms did not match the expectations as the price paid. They could improve their customer experience overall, no one is fond of getting stuck in lift.

We were 100 people. The complete resort was booked by us. It is an amazing place. They had so well arranged everything to accommodate 100 people. The cottages are beautiful. One needs to change the toiletries in the rooms. They are of very bad standard. Overall experience was amazing.
