SEA SHELL BEACH RESORT

The location is beautiful, just opposite to Beach... surrounding is cool full of nature

If there is - minus rating I would give it -10/10. Worst is good words for them. No hot water service in rooms. They provide by bucket after 1 hrs and 4 times follow up. Swimming pool is like showcase. All dirty water. Staff are insufficient. Charges are higher compared to others.

This resort is under new management and rebranded as "Brine and Shell" resort and resto bar. Sat was pleasant. Food taste is good. Rooms are clean. Good place to go with family and friends.

Guys do not book this hotel even it is thr last option. We booked a 1 day 1 night package for a family of 13 adults plus 5 kids including food. We reached at 11 but lunch was served at 2.30. We had to order around 7 to 8 places of snacks seperately at 12. Couldn't understand why it took so long when they served basic dal rice 1 sabji and a chicken Curry. Rooms were dirty as if no cleaning was done before our check-in. Bathrooms latches were broken. Flush was not working. Taps were broken. Condition was really bad. When we asked for tea at 5.30 they had no idea about it. Then the manager told it would be chargeble. We booked a package inclusive all meals and u people are charging us for evening tea . We just ordered 6 and went by the beach for evening snacks as can't expect it from them when they are not ready to serve tea. There were lvery linited chairs in the dining area so we just waited fir 20 mins for a vacant chair. It was our first time in dahanu but were disappointed by the service. Below average hotel. Pls think 10 times to book if u don't want to regret. As no other hotels were available we had to book this one for our new year. Better spend some extra bucks and book a rather good one

Rooms are like khander. It is not maintained, switch board came out of the board, wall colour came out, fixed window AC without controller. So once you put ac it takes the same temperature and if you have switch off you have to walk n close the switch. Pics uploaded seems like 10yrs back. Food was spicy. Location is tricky and the beach access is far. Speaking of beach it's very diry. Although the beach is not good at all. Not worth it.

Going by reviews,we were little confused before booking but we took chance and let me assure you this excellent place value for money, we were there on 22 & 23 Feb at room no 104, Property is at perfect location with sea view. Hardly 100 meters away from sea shower, spacious parking. Good service by Mr Aakash and Raju. Well maintained, clean room and washroom, clean and hygiene towels. Good food and Good Ambiance. I believe what I got in 2500 is certainly value for money ...

I would have a mixed kind of a reaction to this resort. However if they want to they can really make this place better. Now that the season is going to start this is the perfect time to think about how to make this place better||Pros||1 - Good Rooms||2 - Near to the beach. ||3 - Service is fast. But that could be because we were the only guest at the moment. Can say what would it be when the hotel is pack.||4 - You can buy fresh fish from the market again which is close to this resort. They hotel do provide the facility of preparing the fish items you bought.||||Cons||1 - Though they have the indoor game facilities as claimed on their website, it into shambles. Not maintained at all. Don't know why they kept that room locked for so long without even looking to just keep it clean.||2 - Swimming pool is good however needs better maintenance. ||3 - Most important is keeping surplus food items. You just can tell the guest that we don't have the basic food items like bread for breakfast.||4 - though they prepare fish food from the items the guest buy, it way too costly. Do ask them the cost for preparing before you handover them the fish.||||All an all mixed reaction, but if they improve then this is a good place to be.

Good place to stay. We had booked the deluxe rooms but moved to super deluxe as there was a balcony we could use. Food was okay. Place is not opposite the beach it's a 10mins walk. Rooms are clean but can do better. Staff is helpful do not go with too high hopes.
