Hotel Shalom International

Run down hotel and facilities are not maintained, no lift. In the morning we wanted to check out but there is no staff to help to get the luggage. They have a bar and when asked for ice, they refused. When I was stern that they need to bring the luggage down, they bought by a lift which was told tonus that it's not operational!! And also gave the ice!! ||||While settling the room, they charged me for. Tea wherein we had not ordered and she was arguing with us. Showed her the calls made and no call was made for ordering tea!! Rooms are not maintained, beddings are run down. Staff especially the Receptionist was not at all friendly and arguing with us.

One of the worst experience ........i have been shifted to different room because of different issues. Issues are listed below 1) There is privacy issue ...above the window they have been provided a glass with sun film, during night time people from other building can easly see wht is going inside our room. 2) There is lots of gaps in the bathroom exhaust fan which is placed in such away tht anyone from outside can easly see inside 3) Almost all door locks are damage any intruder can easly enter inside the room no guaranty for ur safty. I have faced all these issues and i don't know how i managed to push one night stay in this hotel.

Worst experience ever...Our room lock couldn't be opened. Even after complaining the staff were too irresponsible. They gave us another room and they just engaged in other activities...it was so irritating..At last my husband had to threaten them to call a carpenter... Will never suggest this place even for enemies.. If there was an option for 0 star i would have rated it.. one star is too high for them..

Very old hotel needs lots of maintenance, but cost vise very expensive

I stayed in this hotel as 1 night transit stay. I had gone without expecting much but got pleasant surprise in terms of neat and clean rooms including washrooms. The Air conditioning, TV etc. were in working condition! Staff was also cooperative. Food quality was also fine for 1 dining experience. Location wise hotel is advantage if one is travelling south on Mumbai - Goa highway.||Overall I liked hotel with fact that stay is in Chiplun

The room are spacious, AC works well and bedsheets are clean, but that is the only plus of these rooms. There needs to be lot of improvement which needs to be done as follows;||- Toilet commods are stained, they need to change it or bleach them to make toilet look cleaner.|- Complimentary breakfast needs to change completely, right now it is pathetic. |- They need to increase timming of complimentary breakfast, because when people are on holiday nobody wants to get up early and come for breakfast before 9:30 am.|- There lift was not working and they alloted us 3rd floor rooms, it was very tiresome to climb all those floors everytime we wanted to go out and come back.|- They need to provide all the toileteries when people check in. They provided us toileteries only when we asked for it.

Rooms are spacious comfortable and clean. The lighting in the room can be improved upon. Washroom needs to be maintained. Staff is friendly and provides prompt service. Food is amazing as well. Hotel is nearby Chiplun Bus Stand

I booked the hotel for three days from 9th to 12th may 2023. Total 5 rooms were booked. The reception service is clearly impolite, unprofessional, and unhygienic really very bad smell stinks where noticed the rooms are very very bad and presence of a bad odour in all rooms . The policy of chick in and check out is worst. Actually the staff is not professional
