Amraban Resort

Loved the stay, the location is great.... The only issue I faced was during billing.. (during checkout) I had an important meeting, so I requested the reception desk (2 ladies) to keep my bills ready while I quickly finish my breakfast - After I came back they then only started by making my bills. They took their own sweet time to make my bill, thus making my experience as moderate regarding the place. Being in hospitality, they should understand that everybody doesn't have all the time in the world to wait for them. I was not on holiday, whereas I had come there for a very important project , therefore, I personally told both of those ladies to keep my bills ready, and I will come and close quickly... still they were daydreaming. I request the management to please train your staff to work faster efficiently and meet the requirements of the guest .

Visited this place for food only ! So this review is only regarding Restaurant part and not the accommodation... The restaurant of this resort is very nice with a variety of delicious dishes.. They also have separate snacks for a short break with high tea.. Every dish is freshly prepared in hygienic atmosphere .... Good option for food on khed - Chiplun Highway with great location and quality food......

Had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Sunset view is just a desert in the platter Highly recommend!

The location of this resort is excellent. The property too is huge and very accessible since it is right next to the highway. We stayed there for 2 days. Almost entire resort was booked for a family function. The entire process was poorly managed by the resort. There are 2 senior citizens in my family and despite being informed beforehand to reserve a ground floor room, they gave us a room on first floor. This was done by hotel management without even consulting the ones who had booked the rooms. After we reached there, we were told that they had given the room reserved for us to someone else. It took them 1-1.5 hour to arrange a temporary room. They arranged to transfer our things to our room in our absence. When we came back after attending a function, again they took almost 1-1.5 hours to give us the key to the room. We had a driver with us. Late at night, they told the driver that he can't stay there. After discussing with them, they agreed to let him stay there. Checkout was agreed for 4 pm next day. They started pestering for check out even before 4 pm, refused to send anyone to carry our luggage. The owner and office staff are incompetent, extremely uncourteous and absolute misfits for hospitality industry. The other issue with this resort is poorly planned layout of rooms and buildings. It is not at all suitable for senior citizens. There are no handrails on staircases. The bathroom floor is few inches below the room floor, which can cause trips and falls. The WC is also weirdly placed in the bathroom with nothing to support or hold onto, which is very risky and can cause falls. The hygiene levels of bathrooms are not upto the mark. The rooms are poorly lit. Overall the location is great but service is pathetic and other inconveniences are too many. Not recommended at all.

Attended a function here, very fine property. Road touch. Neat and clean room, nice food. Sunset point is awesome. Very good food. Rooms are neat and clean. Stay is must

We have stayed there just for a night. We reached almost at 9PM, the good part is a lady attended us that made me feel safe. The Chiplun's night view was the best. Room was neat and clean. A bit old school but the room size and cleanliness makes worth to live. Best for the family.

Excellent resort....very clean, picturesque and conveniently located on main Mumbai- Goa highway. Also it is at a walking distance from Lord Parshuram Temple. The food quality and service is also excellent. Would highly recommend to everyone. Ideal for en-route break journey if travelling from Mumbai to Goa.

We always prefer Ambraban for lunch/snacks during our trip to Ratnagiri. Food quality is really good. The place is nicely designed and has a wonderful view of Parshuram ghat and the river. Worth visiting.
