Pathetic service..... It's dangerous for families and sophisticated people. Owner/caretaker was literally drunken. Unable to listen anything. We booked hotel through make my trip for 8 person in 3 rooms (3+3+2 person) but that owner was asking for extra money for 2 person. They refused to give 2 extra mattress in room. On top of it that owner was unable to listen make my trip executive as well. It was horrible night for us. Food was pathetic, unhygienic. Not at all good in terms of test as well as cost. In the morning, We came to know that people staying this hotel were taking food from nearby hotels. Room cost was also high compared to room status. I must say, it's not a resort because they don't have a any kind of amenities, services. Power cut was another issue. Everyone should avoid such kind of resort (must say normal hotel like oyo) for stay in future.

Beware of owners adding 5 star review themselves. This is not a resort and badly serviced lodge. We were harrased by drunk owner, he asked us to leave in the midnight and not provided extra beds, although we booked on MMT and were ready to pay extra charges. My earlier review looks like was reported by owner, which had pictures too. Do not spend your hard earned money here. Food is too bad and over priced too.

WORST Stay.Review after 2 days stay and 3 rooms They deserve less than 0 star but sadly couldn't give; so marked 1. Look at the attached pics. It's a kitchen. No hygiene, quality of food is too bad. Prices for food is too much and service is worst. There is no chef and seperate waiter , u literally needs to wait for 10-15 mins for order during having food. The person sits on the counter is always drunk and mannerless. We had asked for extra beddings at late night; he refused even if we were ready to pay. Instead he used abusive language. Called us "chutiya n all and ran on us, threatened us.' We were waiting almost for 2-2:30 hours at night when temperature was almost 10 degree. But that drunk idiot spoiled our campfire for which we collected woods by ourselves. He was forcing us to leave rooms at 12am. We managed that night and slept on floor with bedsheets on floor. In addition to this, lodge extension civil work is going on so there is hell lot of mess, broken flush in toilets. There are really better hotels than this location wise also , this hotel is almost 2-3 km from main area. This place is very very bad and dangerous especially if you are traveling with family.

Most genuine review If you still decide to visit this place, your choice. I wanted to give 0 star but minimum 1 star I mandatory. Sadly! This is one of worst resorts around, 100% not a resort, it's badly serviced lodge. We had booked it for 8 folks, 3 rooms from MakeMyTrip, these careless people denied providing us proper extra beds and blankets. We were trying to explain, were ready to pay charges as well but fully drunk caretaker even asked to leave in the night at around 12 midnight, 14 degrees outside and they behaved like animals. Even MakeMyTrip customer care requested them to give us 2 extra beds with blankets. But they are so rude and manner less people that they came to so low levels, not really people to stay with, not safe at all. Entire property is badly maintained, no cleanliness, no hygiene and high food rates for tasteless food. Decide yourself by watching photos and this is real experience. You will find lots of walk in better options at Chikaldara market. Most importantly, there is one more by the name Shankarmuni resort, keep this in mind that they are of same owners with worst treatment to guests. If you're reading this till the end here, means you really care for your family, don't go here then. If you want to be harassed on your vacation in front of your family, loved ones then sure, Shivneri resort and Shankarmuni resort won't let you down.

This is not a resort this is lodge. We were harrased by drunk owner or so called manager, Food is too bad and over priced too. There were no safety arrangements like CCTV in common Areas, Guard, Fire safety equipments like fire extinguisher etc. so very unsafe place , personaly i suggest not to book the hotel and save your money

This is not at all a "Resort". It's a "Lodge". It's a 3 story building with absolutely zero ametnies. No lift, no outdoor activities, no children play area, no wifi, no basic amenities. This doesn't leave any space to amaze you inside too. This place cancels booking if done through any online portal using "pay at property option" so do pay some advance if you want to avoid any mishap to happen Rooms are very small. There is no cupboard at all so you have to imagine where to keep your belongings and clothes. Inside the washroom there is basin but the pipe was broken, they only have a 1 litre gyeser which is not even sufficient to bath a baby. The towels given were not clean so we avoided using those. Beds are very small and can comfortably accomodate 2 adults only. If you have a child it's advisable to ask for a matress. The whole lobby and surrounding is full of monsoon flies. So open the door and you will be greeted with them and once they are inside the room it's a pathetic experience. The extreme use of colourful lights (red, green, blue, yellow) will make you feel headache all the time. At a price of 3500 per day per room, this is a terrific choice and no one should make it. Avoid unless there is extreme need. And book it with a comple understanding that it's only a "Lodge"

Worst experience for the first time in any Resort. No proper Management. It's nothing like a Resort. Food quality is also not good but the charges are too high.
