The place (surroundings) was awesome. Felt like staying in the middle of a jungle. The bad part was the rooms. Rooms were leaking due to the heavy rain and the toilets were bad. I am talking about the Deluxe rooms. The executive rooms were better. The construction is of 1960s and not much is expected from it. Service was good. I liked it. Hope they spend some time and money as this place has a huge potential.

I recently went for sightseeing to Chikaldhara (Amravati Dist) along with my spouse and two other couples. We had checked the information from their website (http://greenvallies.com) and booked the Deluxe rooms (with no AC) over the phone. (All other rooms were already occupied due to weekend rush). The gentleman had informed me over the phone that due to continuous rains since last month, the ceiling of the room may be little damp. I asked him if there were any other issues and his answer was no. I booked three deluxe suits and informed about my arrival time, half an hour prior to the checkin time of the hotel.||||When I reached there, I found that the rooms were not cleaned, and a staff (a boy of 14-15 years age) shabbily dressed was taking his broomstick to clean the rooms meant for us to stay. The Room had foul smell all over as there was no ventillation and the bed was completely damp. I ordered for lunch and they told me to go to a nearby restaurant. I was completely disgusted with the experience. The boy managed to clean the room but he couldnt do any thing about the foul smell. When I asked him to use room freshner, he went away and did not show back. I will not recomment this place to anyone for even one night stay. ||||The entire resort is full of dirt and looks like they never clean up the open space where empty cans, Beer bottles and Water bottles could be found lying everywhere.
Its not best of hotel but very good and manager is very helpful Its big property and you will like surroundings and hotel property. Kids will like this hotel, rooms are good but washroom are not well maintained. Service is good, for food you need to go out around 200 mts from hotel but tea and coffee are available in room as well. Chikhaldara is not having many options but this one is fine and if you have your transport, one can manage well.
This is a big property in about 4 acres. You have to walk half a kilometer from the entry gate to the reception. The reception counter is too ugly having only one dull looking 15 watt CFL bulb. There are two types of cottage rooms. Non AC room and another was an AC room. AC room is better maintained. The size of one cottage should be around 500 sq. ft. which is as good as a single bedroom home.||||The car can be parked just in front of your cottage. This is the biggest advantage.||||If you want to enjoy nature, a pollution free holiday, this is the best place to be. You have to walk every time half a kilometer for tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good for health!!!
It's a nice resort, and a very large property...... Rooms are old... TVs are not working...... So you don't go there to watch TV either......rooms are bigger.... Older.... No room service....no intercom on rooms.....their are many noooos. But worth staying.. As the behavior of staff is good....and totally natural environment. Comparatively much better than to stay in a multi story hotel.
No maintenance. No cleanliness. You can experience wilderness in your room itself with so many wild bugs. Should be your last option and definitely not with family. The staff is very much under trained and not professional.
one look at the rooms here, and you would be better off dozing in your vehicle for the night. total disaster is an understatement for this property, untrained staff will compound problems, add to that unkempt areas right outside your doors. got our selves shifted to the mozari point mtdc resort, which was a bit better. but seriously this will rank as the worst of the lot. did not hang in there to try their food so do not know about it.
The place is quite open having a lovely old buildings with the modernisation of the A. C. and other modern amenities. it has a good cogent place for kids to play inside as well. thanks
