Camp Evergreen

We were recently here for a 3 day retreat at Camp Evergreen at the facilities there were surprisingly comfortable. It was totally unexpected to see, how neat and organized the entire setup was. I thoroughly recommend staying in the tent-type accommodations. With the canavas walls and yet fully contained facilities like lights, fans, toilets and showers it was a unique experience. The main highlight of course is the proximity to the Barvi river, with its majestic flow and yet just being waist high. The volleyball and Badminton courts added to the fun during our stay.

We were a group of 4 couples n 2 kids. During our booking, we had asked for a cottage, but was given a tent.. The incharge was warm n cordial. The beds were just about ok. Would recommend to carry bedsheets with you. | The river which is approximately 15 mins walk from fhe resort is good for photo clicks.. The water is muddy and hence you will not find anyone in the river. Barvi dam is the only other option to explore.| Swimming pond was very dirty and non operational when we were there. Current was going off frequently.The only positive side are few activities, fussball n badminton. Ofcourse, being with friends helps a lot. Food was mediocre. | Overall, an average resort which could have been better with proper maintenance and hospitality.

Enjoyed badminton and football a lot. The swimming pool was a great chill after warming up by rock climbing. The rooms are really cozy and comfortable. Yet not like a typical hotel. The feel is very "close to nature." The mountain close to the dining hall was a constant reminder of being in the lap of nature. Good food and a camp fire and you get the full experience! The pin drop silence at night is a treat for the ears! Someone who wishes to have a break from Mumbai and doesn't have much time to escape - this is a great place to be.

The moment you enter the property you feel like you have time travelled to some other era. the property is not maintained at all. Only four walls, few windows and a roof over cant be called a cottage. The management clearly doesnt have any sense of responsibility towards females guests on their property:-||1. The "Cottages" have big windows with no curtains, and the window glasses are see through.||2. Bathrooms dont have any cloth hanger, so women cant change in bathroom also.||3. Cottages only have 3 beds and a small table nothing else in room, no place to keep your luggage. so keep it on floor and expect cockroaches & lizards in ur clothes or bags next day morning. ||4. The swimming pool is on the other side of road...its not in the same premises.||5. Parking is in open place outside the hotel premises.||6.For a change food was authentic and despite all these disadvantages the staff is courteous enough.||7. Even all men group cant enjoy as no cold drinks are available on the spot, you have to tell them in advance and then they will get it from hotel near Barvi dam.||8. Hygeine issues are better not discussed.||||We wasted our whole money as we booked for a long duration, we had to check out on the next day and we shifted to other property.

Amazing place, surrounded with lots of trees and a river just few minutes away. River is safe and so refreshing. Accommodation is nice and clean along with all the basic amenites. There is facility to play sports and a most amazing they have a trampoline too...

Located less than 2 hours from the city and half an hour ride from Badlapur station, Camp Evergreen makes for the perfect getaway. It's new but has a perfect blend of camping and modern facilities. Excellent food, adventure activities, riverside camping, swimming pool and super reasonable prices! Its too good to be true!

We were a group of 13 girls and had booked the place well in advance. The pictures shown on the website are old and all the details they give u on phone are not facts. The rooms were not clean. Water was leaking from the roof. Too many insects.Swimming pool was not clean. They had promised rain dance but on arrival they said its broken. Food was ok. Not a wide spread. Arrangements for activities were sub standard. I would say its not at all worth at the price that they charge.

We had visited on 31 dec. Its waste of money. We had 12 persons stays in dormitory. Bed and Bathroom was dirty. Bath room window glass was broken. Surrounding area was greenery and also direct access to barvy river. Food was Ok. We waste our money. Swimming pool was horrible.
