Hotel Girija Resort

The property is not how beautiful it is shown in the pictures on other websites. I visited this place in October after checking the pictures and confirming the bookings well in advance. But to my surprise the place had a dirty broken swimming pool, a lot of amenities missing as promised in the rooms. Most of the things like fan, water heater we're not working as well. It was supposed to go under renovation the day we checked out but there was no communication from the management about the state of the property even having confirming well in advance. The worst experience I have ever had. Make sure you call and ask for current pictures before you book. The service staff is courteous and will help wherever possible. They have pool table for your entertainment. The property is huge and at a good location, but will be great if maintained well

Nice resort, secluded and quiet. But don't expect too much from the place as it's not a very well maintained . Still, for a quiet getaway, it's not too bad. Service is good, no worries there. If you need hot water for bathing, reach early as the common boiler is stopped at around 11am. For later, a nice bucket of hot water can be arranged. There is provision for a small fire in the garden. If it's cold and not raining, one can relax seated around it with some drinks. I liked the chili chicken they make which can go well with the drinks. If you are ordering non veg it would be good to tell them to have some meat on the bones!! i did that after the first time's not so satisfactory experience. Also, for kids, there is an aging play area with a old slide and a few swings. The pool is rotten, don't even plan for it (one star less for this). Over all, I was satisfied as my purpose was not to enjoy 5 star service of a resort but to enjoy Panchghani and Mahabaleshwar which are close to this place.

Value for Money Resort has got a new management. Staff if helpful and the rooms are clean. Excellent view and location,beautiful surroundings. Overall a very good experience. should be more exciting in summer with the swimming pool. There are two categories rooms. standard and deluxe. Both are in affordable in pricing. food is good . like previous reviews, what else can you expect in this price ?

Worst experience. Poor infrastructure , poor facilities. They dont even provide complementary water bottle. You have to purchase it. If you want booze, bring them along with you. If you ask them for booze, they will charge you more than double. Dont go on the pics uploaded by them on net. Its not that clean and beautiful.

The best place at the best deatination. The resort is bot inside but this disadvantage makes it awesome to the the senery there. The staff members are very frendly and caring. The quality is the best. Snooker facility is also available.

Its neither Mahabaleshwar nor panchgini,it advertises Swiming pool on premises, however its nothing more than a small pond with dirty water.Also its nothing like a resort,more so an old construction at a desolute place with basic necessities. If you have a vehicle & planning to use it only for bed & bath its a value preposition, otherwise strictly avoid

Nice place...Good atmosphere..located beside strawberry farms. Books village..Budget friendly rooms.. Best for middle class family. Good quality food. Must visit.
