Kohinoor Samudra Beach Resort, Ratnagiri

We had a very nice room on the corner so it had two windows with a fantastic sea view. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, and good food in the restaurant. Very nice pool and garden, and a well located sunset point with seats to enjoy the view from. The beach is accessible via a steep paved path with steps. I gave 3 stars overall because for Rs 6700 a night, the property should be much better maintained. Many areas around the hotel look tired and in need of refurbishment. The exhaust fan was not working in our bathroom. Overall, however, a pleasant (albeit expensive) stay!

Very nice Resort on the top of the hill with sea facing rooms . This is not on/ very near to the beach. There is a direct approach path to the Bhatye beach but it is very sloppy. It's very difficult to climb back. But the beach is approachable through the road but bit far. The sea view rooms are fantastic. The rooms are spacious. They have a wonderful garden with lots of mango trees. The building is old and needs maintenance. I could see a bedbug also. Had some problems with leakages in pipes etc. Breakfast could have been better. There were limited options. Sometimes the quality was also not so good. In my opinion the hospitality is also not up to my expectations. Overall we had a nice holiday in Kohinoor Samudra Beach resort.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Kohinoor Samudra Beach Resort. Wish I had driven there to explore the surrounding areas! Nonetheless, it is an excellent resort with lots of things to do for everyone.... Swimming Pool, Sunset Point, Walk on the beach and just sit down and listen to the sea waves. I would love to come back here again during monsoon season and experience totally different weather and do nothing

Excellent location! Huge property. Very old school! Easily 90's vibe but well kept. We asked for sea view but all we got was a small view of the sea from far. Rest was hampered by trees. Although they have a viewing deck at the cliff which is a 2 minutes walk within the property. Its unlike anything I have seen before. Simply Heaven on Earth. Food was good overall. Property needs to be modernised. Rest everything was spot on!

Very Nice Resort. Great Scenic location. Overlooking Sea. Trekking path to go down. Good Infrastructure. The hotel is in itself a full holiday combo...you can walk, swim and have Great Times. Sandesh the transporter link of hotel is great. Only, if some better maintenance could be done it would match a five star hotel. Lockers are not their in rooms... All rooms are Sea Facing
