A Mediocre Stay - Nothing Special" The food was okay, nothing exceptional but not bad either. The rooms were decent--not premium but not terrible. Overall, an average experience. If you're looking for something basic, this might work, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

Reasonably a good place to stay but absolutely worthless with its abnormally high price staring at Rs. 3500 - 4000 / night. You can stay in a city area in premium / branded hotel with better facilities. The hotel reception staff has its own attitude for their unreasonable price. Location isn't that good, you need to travel far to get other restaurant and shopping place. If you have work in the city area this is useless. Just good enough for night halt and events. Regular deluxe room size is too small for the family stay with a child, no space for extra bed. Nice elevation and internal ambience including roof top restaurant and rooms. Prices are super high compared to the location and overall other aspects.

We booked a stay in Deccan Pavilion for the last week of December to visit a wedding of our friend in Pune. However we needed to check out prematurely due to severe issues regarding cleanliness, pests and also unacceptable handling of the situation by the management. The location is okay, since it is easy to reach from several places, but it is located directly next to the highway, so expect an extremely loud environment in your room. The AC in our room (314) did work, but the room was not cleaned at all. The floor was dirty, the corners of the room looked like they were never cleaned before and also there was a huge amount of dirt underneath the furniture. Same goes for the bathroom, that was completely dirty. However it was usable. The first couple of days were fine until we noticed cockroaches in our room. We did not freak out about this since one or two cockroaches can be a common thing. However, after one more day we noticed large amounts of cockroaches (large and small) climbing up the walls, inside of our luggage and also in the cabinet. ALl of our clothes needed to be washed to get rid of those, the backpack was thrown away. The manager did not feel like there was any particular need to act on this situation. We had to ask 5 times until they gave us another room for the night. In this room we found 6 dead cockroaches in the cabinet and decided to check out the next morning. We really do not think this is something that cannot happen, but the handling on side of the manager was just unacceptable. There was no apologize for the inconvenience, no offer regarding another room or discount and not even the slightest understanding. This hotel really needs to get it's things together and invest in some proper cleaning and especially pest control. For this we can only give 1 star. The restaurant next doors is incredible, the staff there was more understanding to our situation than the hotel manager. We went to the restaurant even after we checked out.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Deccan Pavilion Hotel, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! As a vegetarian, it's always a treat to find a restaurant that offers such a wide range of flavorful and satisfying dishes, and Shivsagar certainly didn't disappoint. The ambiance of the hotel is warm and inviting, with a clean, comfortable atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed during my visit. The menu is extensive, offering everything from North Indian and South Indian classics to continental options, all with a vegetarian twist. I started with a crispy plate of pakoras, which were perfectly spiced and the ideal way to kick off the meal. For the main course, I tried their signature Paneer Butter Masala with naan, and it was absolutely delicious--the paneer was soft, and the curry had just the right amount of richness and flavor. One of the highlights for me was the variety of options they offer. From Dosas to Chinese dishes, everything was fresh, well-prepared, and bursting with flavor. The desserts were also a treat--try the classic Gajar Halwa or their special kulfi, both of which are excellent. Deccan pavilion truly stands out as a top destination for vegetarians, offering a fantastic dining experience with delicious food and great service. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone looking to enjoy wholesome, tasty vegetarian food. I'll certainly be returning!

I recently had my wedding at Deccan Pavilion, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the moment we started planning until the very last guest left, everything was handled with absolute professionalism and care. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that our big day was nothing short of perfect. A special shoutout to Mr. Amjad Qureshi, the manager, who made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and accommodating nature were truly commendable. He listened to all our requirements, provided helpful suggestions, and made sure every aspect of the event--from decor and food to sound and lighting--was executed flawlessly. The venue itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a grand celebration. The decor was elegant, and the ambiance they created was exactly what we had envisioned. Our guests were highly impressed by the arrangements and kept complimenting the hospitality throughout the evening. The catering deserves a special mention as well--every dish served was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Many of our guests specifically mentioned how much they enjoyed the food. If you're looking for a venue that offers not just a beautiful space but also exceptional service, I would highly recommend Deccan Pavilion. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Amjad Qureshi and his entire team for making our wedding such a memorable and joyful experience. I couldn't have asked for a better venue or service for such an important day in our lives!

Service is very bad. Food from restaurant is very costly.Not worth paying do much for such a regular quality of dish and small quantity, waiting time is too long

Nearest location to Katraj bypass. Complimentary breakfast quality is excellent Nisha, Vishwajeet and other staffs are very polite.. Dinner menu quality are good..
