Jimmy Beach Resort

Need to improve kitchen management. Entire staff excluding 1 or 2 staff is very humble and co operative. Owners are very helpful and managing resort very nicely, personally involving to take care of each tourist. Surly visit again with family. And recommending to experience the hospitality.

Quite a dissatisfactory stay experience!! We selected this resort as it was a beachside location and seemed to be a good property on Google. The rooms they offer is not worth more than Rs 3000. But we paid Rs.5000 for a weekday stay. The owners earned a hefty profit!! The restaurant is awfully bad!! Very low quality taste, no freshness in food, distasteful kitchen, highly overpriced. Eating here is a complete lootmaar on the bill !! There are far better eat out options at Alibag. Also, poor services from the staff. Not at all recommended.

Visited with family for a night. Nothing much to write home about this resort. Location is about 500 mts away from Varsoi beach. 8- 10 min walk. Staff is excellent. Food overall is good. We were disappointed with the fact that they did not have any local cusine except Surmai / Prawns fry. Absolutely need to have alteast a few Malwani preparation dishes. No.poimt eating only Punjabi food in Konkan. Property itself is very small. Just 8-10 rooms. No space to even walk around. Rooms are cramped. Hard bed. Wait till you use the additional bed made of STONE. Not at all value for money. 13k something per night. More like 5k would be closer.

Not recommended. Recommend iff you get it below 3K. Pros: * The staff were courteous, but they tended to defend the resort when issues were raised. Cons: 1. Poor Food Quality and Limited Options - During my two-day stay, the vegetarian options were extremely limited and subpar. Breakfast consisted of bread with butter, either upma or poha, tea, coffee, and real cranberry juice. The puris/bhaturas were oily and stale. After multiple complaints from us and other families, the staff reluctantly offered to make parathas. 2. Room and Bathroom Hygiene - The rooms were filled with mosquitoes, and the bathrooms had a persistent unpleasant odor. The quality of the provided shampoo and conditioner was poor, and the kettles were dirty. 3. Inconvenient Location - The location is far from ideal, especially if you rely on public transport like auto-rickshaws. Accessibility is a major issue. 4. False 5-Star Claim - Despite being listed as a 5-star property on Agoda, the resort clearly falls short. Even the staff acknowledged this discrepancy. 5. Terrible WiFi - The WiFi was extremely poor, which the staff admitted. They insisted it was the best available in Alibaug, but I couldn't even watch TV due to the weak connection.

Resort/Hotel is clean and good,swimming pool is good. Prices of rooms is little higher considering Alibag which is itself not so developed. Location is not that good for those who dont come with their own vehicle. Autos are seldom available nearby. Varsoli beach is at walkable distance but beach itself is not that clean and have dirty areas near beach with dumping of filth here and there which makes experience bad.

The rooms are fine, but the service is terrible. The same staff who cleans the rooms and bathrooms also serve food--it's disgusting! The management lady lies in few of the review replies by saying the staff for cleaning and serving wear the same uniform, but that's a lie.They don't even have uniforms.The restaurant is overpriced, and the breakfast buffet is awful. They don't allow outside food or drinks, and if you bring any, you're forced to eat in your room. What's the point of paying so much for the ambience if you can't even enjoy it? The lady handling customer replies does nothing but blame the guests, as seen in almost every review. There isn't a single hint of an apology in her responses. The customer service is extremely poor. I don't expect any reply to this, but travelers should be aware of the reality before coming here. The lady in charge is rude and not helpful at all. There are better places to stay in Alibaug--don't waste your money here!

Service was top-notch--every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From check-in to check-out, we were met with warmth and efficiency. The food was a standout feature! The variety and quality of the dishes were exceptional, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors that catered to all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was a delight. As for the location, it couldn't have been more perfect. The resort is situated next to the beach and its very calm and quiet.
