Pros: Stay was really good . The manager and rest of the staff make sure all your needs are met. Food is tasty and affordable. The morning buffet breakfast was refreshing and low priced. There is a nice handout place with swings. Cons: the pool condition is really really BAD ! There is algae/fungus growing at the bottom . The pool is slippery and the water is not clean. We saw water mosquitoes breeding in the pool :( Doesn't seem hygenic at all.

Nice Experience at the Resort We had a pleasant stay at the resort. The place is cool, calm, and very clean. We truly enjoyed the soothing sounds of birds chirping all around. The food was delicious. Sanika, Vrushabh, and Shweta from the staff were very cooperative and assisted us in every way possible. If someone is looking for peace and tranquility, Map Resort should be the first choice. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

A Truly Special Stay at MAP Resort, Alibaug We recently spent four amazing days at MAP Resort, Alibaug, and it was an experience to cherish. The resort offers well-maintained rooms, a spacious lawn, a large swimming pool, a kids pool and a cricket pitch, making it a perfect retreat for families. What made our stay truly memorable was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. The owner of the resort happens to be my mom's student, and though he wasn't there personally, he made sure that his staff arranged two rooms for us immediately, which was a wonderful gesture. One of the rooms even had a bath tub, adding to the comfort and relaxation of our stay. The rooms were also well-equipped with toiletries and a coffee machine, ensuring a convenient and pleasant experience. The resort had plenty of indoor entertainment options, including an indoor games room and a relaxation room, perfect for unwinding. The rain dance added to the fun, making it a great place for families and groups to enjoy. Food was another highlight of our stay. The in-house restaurant was amazing, serving delicious food with a great variety. The complimentary buffet breakfast had plenty of options, catering to different tastes. A special mention to the attentive staff, who went out of their way to accommodate our needs--my daughter is a fussy eater, and they kindly arranged boiled eggs for breakfast, even though it wasn't on the menu. While the resort is about an hour away from Alibaug Beach, the peaceful surroundings and excellent amenities make it well worth the stay. The only minor downside was the narrow approach road, but once inside, the resort's beauty and hospitality made us forget all about it. Overall, MAP Resort exceeded our expectations, and we'd highly recommend it for family getaways, celebrations, and relaxing vacations.

I've visited this place a few times, and my first experience was excellent--that's what made me want to come back. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. The overall service quality has declined. Staff, especially at reception and during the morning shift, didn't seem welcoming or attentive. There were major connectivity issues--Wi-Fi and mobile signal were both unreliable. Though they gave me a portable device to help with internet access, it didn't function at all. If you're planning to work remotely, be sure to confirm the Wi-Fi and network coverage before booking. Room service was frustratingly inconsistent. Simple items like cutlery were often missing, requiring multiple follow-ups. Despite the property being mostly empty during my stay, the level of service was still poor--which raises concerns about how they manage things when fully booked. Another ongoing issue was with their RFID room key cards. They consistently failed after exiting the room, forcing me to go to reception every time to reactivate them. It was inconvenient and tiring. The food menu looked extensive, but in reality, most of the items weren't available. On a positive note, food is tasty especially, the dinner we did get was quite good, and the service during dinner was better compared to the rest of the experience. The included Breakfast, however, had very very limited options and was very average. No one was available to assist with luggage from car , it felt like the place wasn't being maintained or managed with the same standards as before. Additionally, For rooms booked for two people, the basics were overlooked: only one towel and one toothbrush were provided. It's fundamental to expect two sets of these essentials when two guests are staying. Unfortunately, this visit was far from the great experience I once had here, and I'm unlikely to return.

The rooms are a bit small, but the reception and the staff are very very responsive and friendly. I've had a great time here during my visit to Alibaug. Although the resort is a 40min ride from Alibaug, if you have your own vehicle, it's definitely worth staying here at this resort. Location and the property are really good. Food can improve a lot, they have limited buffet options in the breakfast, I would have liked more options in the breakfast buffet. Nevertheless, an amazing place for a weekend getaway if you're visiting alibaug.

Stay Date: Friday Night (1 week October) Guests: Just us! Experience Summary: Our stay at Map Resort was truly unique. We were the only guests on a Friday night, giving us the whole place to ourselves! The staff was fantastic--friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Room with a View: The room had a balcony with a stunning view, a feature that added a special touch to our stay. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the surroundings. Pool: The pool was enjoyable, though it's a bit on the deeper side. If you're planning to bring kids, this is something to keep in mind. Surprise Disco Room: One of the highlights was discovering the disco room! It was unexpected and added a fun twist to our stay, letting us enjoy a little private party vibe. Overall: We had a great time and would recommend Map Resort for those looking for a peaceful getaway with attentive service and a few surprises along the way!
