The Villa is excellent, neat and clean. services provided by caretaker Ajay were appreciated. Food quality was awesome. My family members enjoyed a lot. Beach is only 2 to 3 minutes by walk. Beach is also very beautiful, where we performed body weight exercises.

I have no words to express the stress I and my family endured during our 1 night stay at this villa . No matter what please do not book this . We made a mistake to not read the reviews of earlier vacationers and repented every second at the villa . I just do not know where to start with. 1- The villa - The villa has no name at the gate , like nothing to identify this is the villa we booked . The pool has no cover so it was full of dried leaves and we could see dead ants and small creatures filled in the pool no lights to switch on near the pool when it's dark so it gets really dark near the pool area just few lanterns with very dim light not safe if we have kids along No shampoo, no soap, no hand wash, none shower was working, no utensils that can be used , broken cups , no cylinder, no spoons , no towels ( pool or bathroom) no door mat , no safety mats around pool area as I slipped and fell due to the water coming out from pool , you name any necessary item and it was missing . The beds were in a very bad state The sofa had marks of water since ages and nothing was done to clean it let alone hide them . The villa is huge but not maintained at all 2- Safety and Security No arrangements for safety and security is available. Locals keep coming inside the villa and leave whenever they want to A small Ganapati temple is constructed inside the villa , like inside the gate but we woke up to sounds of local people with kids and office going people doing Aarti in the morning right outside our glass window bedroom. Locals come inside the villa whenever they want to pick up dried leaves The villa has a area with loads of trees and easy hiding place for anyone as it's right next to pool area which is not clearly lit in the evening The gate cannot be locked or closed , anyone can easily open the big kadi on the main gate No windows have locks and they are all glass windows so it can be easily opened from outside and inside The main door lock of the villa was broken so you can only close the door but have no means to safely lock the door . The kitchen door towards the pool can be pushed open easily from outside as the door missed the knob to lock it securely 3- Service- The guy had a Scotty and used to bring stuff whatever we ordered like for example we ordered tea and he quickly went and got tea but he left the packet on the kitchen platform and left immediately. He did not even tell us and by the time we realised we have to get the tea ourselves it was cold and with no scissor or knife in the kitchen we actually couldn't open the packet properly and tea fell on the platform . We asked him for towels so out of 4 pol we got only 2 towels and we had to use it in the pool area as well as after shower We asked for shampoo and soap and it was charged on us but these are basic amenities and should be provided ...... I am attaching few pics to give a view of what ordeal we had to go as I couldn't sleep the whole night as none of the doors had safety latch on Please if you do not want to waste your money and jeopardise safety of your family do not book this villa at any cost
Awesome villa n ajay service menu food quality is also good n authentic go n visit
It was a very disappointing experience. Even though it is a good property with nice looking chandeliers, fans and a good sound system, there are multiple flaws to look out for: 1. Horrible plumbing and electrical system The pipes were leaking, which caused flooding of the entire bathroom and the rest of the room. There were noisy water pumps, whose sound rang throughout the house, all night and day, especially when any lights or taps were used. The swimming pool has no draining or cleaning system, the water is full of dead bugs and plant waste, the water is never changed, very capable of giving one cholera and skin infections. 2. No amenities provided There was a broken water purifier, dysfunctional gas stove, broken and insufficient kinds of utensils, yellow stained bedsheets, pee stained bathrooms, food contents on mattresses, insufficient number of blankets, no toiletries available, no dishwashing liquid, no towels without complaining, extremely salty and insufficient food on order, dysfunctional oven, no television(website mentions flatscreen TV). The bathrooms were also impractical and very small. Overall, it is not worth paying that much money for only a wooden roof and a few lights. The house looks pretty on the inside but it's all a lie really. The caretaker is very rude and does not help much.
*Genuine reviews always contain photographs* The property itself is quite beautiful but we encountered several issues during our stay, and the hassle kind of spoilt the vacation. It is not worth staying here, especially for the steep price. Our experience: Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The property is nice but the subpar hospitality and other technical problems ruin the whole experience. There is water flooding the rooms and the caretaker's solution is for the guests to mop it. Save your hard earned money and look for better place to stay. Problems faced: * The coordinator whose phone number we were given to raise any issues failed to answer our calls despite numerous attempts. He only picked up calls from the caretaker. * In the evening, the bathrooms got flooded with water, which overflowed and got wasted. When we asked the caretaker about it, he said it's "normal and happens when the storage overflows." The water even flooded the bedroom during our second night and damaged our luggage. * When we complained about this to the caretaker, he asked us to take a mop from the kitchen and clean it. And on top of that, he began questioning us how the water ended up there. * The bedsheets and mattresses were stained and had bits of food on them. There were inadequate towels, napkins and blankets in the house, despite the fact that the booking details included the number of guests. Despite complaining about the same, the caretaker didn't provide any additional items. * Toiletries such as soaps and shampoos were entirely missing. * The house is equipped with a noisy water pressure system. It constantly stirs up and makes a loud noise near the kitchen, especially when any taps are opened. * The microwave oven was broken and did not heat up the food no matter how long it was used for. * The gas stove was only partially functional, with one of the burners broken. * Several utensils like pakkad and pans were missing. The utensils which were there weren't clean. * There was laundry detergent in the kitchen for cleaning utensils. And there was no facility for cleaning the utensils, which shouldn't be the case at this price point. On top of that, there aren't nearly enough vessels and pots to serve food to 7-8 people. * There was a water purifier in the kitchen but it didn't work. We weren't informed about this, and had to pay for bottled water (which was provided by the caretaker). There is no facility for drinking water at the property. * Some of the fans are remote controlled and do not have a regulator. But the caretaker did not inform us about this and only gave us the remote after we complained. Finally, here are the good things about the property: * Luxurious house with plenty of power outlets everywhere and a functional swimming pool. * Spacious rooms with great lighting. * Three well equipped bathrooms. * Sound system with Bluetooth is kept in the living room. No television though. * Fast and reliable WiFi. * The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, which is functional.
All the good reviews above are written by the manager(Akshay), the caretaker(Ajay),the service providing people and local villagers who cannot even afford to live in that property as guests. PROS - Villa has Modern architecture and Beautiful lights. 7 mins walk from Thal Beach. CONS - no basic services provided. No drinking water available No toiletries available Even though we mentioned number of guests while booking, there were insufficient blankets, mattress covers(badly stained), towels, utensils. (3 towels for 8 guests) Mattress had food particles and stains Utensils looked like they were gathered from garbage bins. all badly burnt, dented and stained aluminum utensils. No spoons, pans available. Microwave and drinking water filter is non functional. Gas burner is broken. ( looks like they collected all broken kitchen-ware from local villagers and placed them in Villa kitchen ) On requesting for clean utensils and spoons, the caretaker will still not provide them. Noisy water pump will not let you sleep at night. Water overflow from overhead tank flooded the bathrooms and bedrooms damaging our luggage. Overflow happened due to neglect of the caretaker and then he asked us to wipe this water with a mop. The following amenities are non-existent - no Functional kitchen, no sofabed, NO FIRE - EXTINGUISHER. Caretaker is very rude and will not pickup the phone. Manager is rude and will treat guests like servants. Only Villa architecture and location is good, but not worth paying such steep price for such horrible service.
There is always other side of the story , before booking ocean pearl villa we were hesitant because of the reviews but after talking to owner we took the risk and I am glad we took it . It was one of the best experiences staying at this villa . The care taker was friendly the villa was neat and clean and the best thing beach is just 2 min away me and my whole family of 15 people stayed comfortably and enjoyed alot
Think twice before you book this Villa for a peaceful family outing. It is not worth spending this much for such an unprofessional treatment. Although The Villa is very beautiful. Location is great too. Very close to Thal beach. Local people are very nice. However, The caretaker(Ajay) and manager (Akshay)of the Villa clear lacked hospitality in their attitude. We had taken our EV to the place and asked the caretaker if there were charging stations nearby. The caretaker very confidently mentioned that we could charge our it in the Villa itself. To this we asked him at numerous times if the Villa was capacitated with and had enough power to charge the ev. The caretaker confidentially confirmed that we could charge the ev in Villa without worries. Later the caretaker visited the Villa at 12AM and woke us up saying that he will cut the supply of water to manage electric power in the Villa. This time as well we asked him if there was any problem due to EV charging and he denied to having problems and said we could continue charging. Next day when the water pumps ( which already were noisy even before charging the ev) started causing overflow in the bathrooms and then the bedrooms. We called the caretaker to look into the matter. After multiple tries the caretaker picked up the phone and arrogantly asked us to clean the water with a mop by ourselves. Later the manager Akshay) unprofessionally and disrespectfully spoke to us asking " how the hell could the rooms be flooded with water, it is impossible " After all the ruckus, the caretaker(Ajay) was irritated as we requested him to clean up the water flooding that was caused by his own neglect. And so he also took with him 2 of the blankets from our rooms and left saying his time for providing service is over. When we called him to arrange for blankets he never picked the call and we ended up sleeping in the cold without blankets. On checking out the caretaker had to be phoned 3-4 times before he came to do us a favor to do check-out procedure. He came with a bill for the bottled water that we had to pay for because their drinking water filter was broken. Both, the caretaker as well as the manager never mentioned a single word about charging the EV at the time of check-out.
