Pros: Proximity to railway station, it's just walking distance from platform 1 Budget hotel No problem with safety even if it's late night Cons; Front desk executive was very unfriendly. At times I felt unsafe talking with him. I visited with wife and 2 kids. Despite producing our IDs he kept demanding proof of our marriage which was pretty awkward for us. At one time he almost denied the room to us when we said we can't give any other ID further to prove we are couples. It was unique for me to share my passport to prove myself staying as couples. Since my passport has my wife's name I could finally secure my room that was reserved on MMT where surprisingly this hotel is listed as a "MMT value stays" property. Even when I stayed in a sensitive place like Kashmir, i remember not having to produce a highest level id like my passport within India for an accommodation. Unclean washrooms with yellow stains on toilet commodes indicating toilets are not taken care of very well. Also there were no tissues or toilet rolls which is pretty standard in any Western style toilet settings. Dark in lobby and other floors. Unpleasant lift voice that keeps shouting "please close the door" always as soon as you try to open the lift. No toiletries were offered except small soaps for washing and bathing. There is no kitchen. You cannot even order tea. Our saviour was Zomato and swiggy.
