I have visited this place three times, and each visit has been a wonderful experience. The service is consistently exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant visit. I highly recommend this place, especially because it's conveniently located near the Swami Samarth Temple and offers a positive environment. Rooms, bed and toilets are very neat and clean and the service was very good.. even the spots are very close to visit easily as well as the nature of the staff and owner is soo good.. thank you Shankar residence lodging for such a nice service

The hotel is very neat and clean. The staff are very cooperative. 24 hours hot water is available. Very good place for those come for swami dershan. One of the best hotel in akkalkot.

If you are going for a short stay (1-2 days) just to spend time at the Vatvriksha Shree Swami Samarth Mandir then this place is just opposite the north gate. Only for families, this place offers compact and slightly medium rooms that are neat, clear and this facility is brand new. The owner Shri Nilkanth Hindole is personally helpful to the guests and takes care of any requirement, including room service if required. The staff is on the toes offering quick help. Check-in / Check -out was smooth. Highly recommended for a family stay. Just to add- they don't have a F&B service but the market has a lot of eating places. Shri Swami Samarth..

The Lodge is very convenient and best maintained . Very clean and new one. They knw kannada very well.. we felt it more easy conversing with them . Room service was also vry good . It is vry close to temple . The lodge front door is just 5 steps away from temple back entrance. We had really good stay der .

Just near to Uttar mahadwar of Swami Vatvriksha Mandir. Very well maintained, hygienic, neat & clean, newly built, nice , spaciuos rooms. Co-operative owner & staff.

We visited Shankar Residency Hotel in the month of November 2024. Shankar Residency Hotel is newly build property about just 2 years old as per owner told me.We reached hotel at night for check-in, though the roads are very Narrow to reach the hotel ( just one car can pass at a time either way) the hotel owner himself came to receive us and guided as till his parking space safely. Parking area is small but can accommodate 10-15 cars easily & equipped with cctv camera. Hotel staff is very helpful too.Owner of the hotel gave us all the information about which other places to visit in and around Shri Vatavruksha Swami Maharaj Devasthan, Akkalkot. Owner also booked for us auto rickshaw on our demand & made sure we get smooth darshans. Also main advantage of this hotel is that the Vatavruksha temple is just 1min walk away(just opposite) from this hotel. Regarding rooms I would like to say that they are compact but have very comfy bed, good looking, well maintained and clean with 24/7 hot water(shower & tap) in bathroom with hygienic toilet. Additional things like TV, WIFI and balcony available too.They have ac and non ac rooms options and building has Elevator. Breakfast was not available when we visited this place as their cook was sick but there is available option for breakfast but no dinner & lunch available, so you will have to go outside to have food. Overall its the best place to stay. You won't regret your stay here. Well you will love it. Specially Owner goes out of his way to help and guide you. Very polite and sweet person.
